I heard a good quote last week that said “if you’re worried there’s no need to worry and if you’re not worried you should start to worry”.
We can all take different meanings from quotes but I took it that if your concerned about something you’re generally doing something to address the concern i.e. minimise the risk.
Keep working hard and try your best to stay positive. No one has a crystal ball but if you try your hardest, remember academics is only one part of recipe to getting a job, and talk to as many credible people as possible you’ll find confidence in the fact that you’re doing your best and giving yourself the best opportunity to succeed.
      Best wishes

Be honest, how much of where you are right now is based pn what you learned and how much is based on knowing the right people?

Hello, you’re not speaking to Jess when you write in the comments but to Career Insights.
I can’t speak for Jess but know she was a very talented student whose talent got recognised by big brands.
Is Jess’ talent or story normal or something you hear everyday probably not but that’s what life is, your own story.
Career insights is just about people sharing their story and hopefully it helps others too.
You shouldn’t buy into a concept of “knowing the right people”. Putting yourself out there and meeting people is all you can do (Covid aside) you can’t dictate whether they turn out to be the “right or wrong” people as you put it.
Careers aren’t a 5 minute endeavour. You can work with someone now that you don’t consider to be the “right person” and in 5 years they’re working for your dream company. All of a sudden in your context they’re the “right person”.
      All the best

Unpaid internships are impossible for most.
