Robert Ordonez watch the race last weekend mate. Albon overtook Hamilton on the outside of Turn 4 in Austria only for Ham to understeer and clip Albon’s rear right wheel and sent him to the shadow realm.
Yea, I think it was on purpose tbh. SuperGT should have braked later and accelerated before the apex and that way the other guy wouldn't have attempted the overtake.
The first one, with him staring down our hero on the way into the wall, then being tossed up in the air, arms flailing, made me laugh, I'm sorry to admit.
Just i am trying to imagine how many handling corrections he would have done to keep that car in a proper line. Did you felt that this race was intermediate in difficulty level???
Angami Accent Hamilton DID have old hards on that were still warming up even after the safety car was released. Compare that to albons fresh softs and that explains why Albon was able to make a pass on the outside. It is too bad they crashed but there’s no reason for Lewis to intentionally crash.
@@Celinestu333 Why would he crash deliberately? Fucked his own race up too, it was a racing incident. I do agree with the penalty tho because it made the end of the race exhilarating.
You can see Rich moving his weight in the kart to the outside to of the kart to add his weight over the wheels that need traction. Using his heavyweight to his advantage.
When I was karting in Thailand, stabbing the breaks at the end of the breaking section slips the rear tires a bit and allows your kart to rotate into the turn better than pushing the front tires. ask the shadow realm guy! I bet he also leans far forward quickly to initiate the rotation by upsetting the planted rear wheels. Thanks for all your videos!
I notice they've got tyre stacks on the inside of the first corner these days. A classic wet racing line at Rye House used to be to hook the front right tyre over the inside edge of the kerb and power round the corner. It used to be soooo quick that way if you knew the trick. I've set fastest laps at Rye House in Club100 using that trick
The second big reason for the rain line is that rubber on the dry line gets even more slippery. Also for flat out first corners, the first left kinks before the right hairpins on both layouts of NJMP are technically flat, Ocala Race Park has a long flat first corner, and Jacksonville Florida gets an honorable mention for the sheer banking that pulls you around way faster than any corner that tight should.
One of the most interesting races I have seen you in go kart. Also you deserve a lot of more subscribers, if you were last every race I would still watch you and recommend you because of your sense for humor.
For my birthday I asked to go to a go kart track and practice there, but because of the virus it was delayed by months. However now for the past weeks I have gone there many times and have tore up the track!thank you for your karting vids they have really helped me 😁 ( sorry for my bad english )
My second ever Club 100 round was at Rye House back in 2004! It was so wet I could barely see! Managed a 4th in the C final and then made 14 places up in the B. It was a steep learning curve that day!
Mounting the camera with one lens facing left and one lens facing right, instead of facing forward and back, might help with rain and fogging. Each lens would have similar air passing over it, and it would help balance the difference between the front and back views.
5 weeks ago i was at my local kart circuit and I got ABSOLUTLY OBLITERATE i had nowhere to go to avoid a stop kart so i brake and i was colected half a sec later. I actualy got ejected and broke my arm thanks for the motivation your video give me i can't wait to get back on track when my cast is remove in a few day (that guy not blessed lol 13:41)
So yeah, cool video again with quality content as always. But that tarmac... OMG that track is cracked everywhere! Looks like there is grass growing in between some of those cracks.
Turn 1 at the kart track here in Austin (Located at COTA) has a sweeping right that (done correctly) is flat out. Super cool and sets up for some insane battles out of turns 2+3 onto a straight. :) Great stuff as always keep it up!
Well drived mate. Nice too see your videos. You'll be welcome if you want come to Spain. There are few amateur championships with good drivers level. If you want to come you will be race fro free as a guest.
You can see Richard Allen is able to brake harder and take tighter lines, perhaps due to being heavier than you he can find different wet weather apexes and have more grip in and out of the corners. Some coaching would be awesome, I'd pay! 😂
Super weird listening to this video with headphones; kart sounds in my right ear, your voice in my left. Excited to see the karting videos coming back!
PGP in Kent, WA, USA has a chicane for the first turn and its just a little lift going into it. Definitely breathtaking to get it right but if you get it wrong there is a tire wall on the outside that make die of death.

You can go flat out on the first corner of every circuit in Forza, actually.
Many people do it in multiplayer and it actually works
It’s an advanced level strat, I wouldn’t expect amateurs like you to understand it.

He's obviously not as hard as he thinks he is.

Best kind of track. Need a nice straight after a bend... got told to stop trying to get it sideways my first time karting 👍😂
I know its dreadful ive never been there but im not sure i want to.
I've been there and the cracked just make it a bumpy ride but still fun and not too much of a difference
In GT Sport, the other guy would've received a 5 second penalty for that Shadow Realm entry
