Saaame! I forgot all about it until I found this album at the goodwill yesterday as a king of the hill joke but instantly remembered playing bass to this one
This is the World’s Anthem. Thank You, Maestro Chuck Mangione!🙏🏾👊🏾☝🏾🙌🏾👏🏾💟☮️☯️ PeaceLoveJoyHope to ALL the Children of Earth! Eradicate poverty. END ALL WAR- EVERYWHERE NOW!!!
He played this as the last song in Calgary. The audience wanted more. He came back and played it again, then eyes of the veiled tempress. Still remember that show. One of the best days of my life.
I had the great pleasure of seeing him live at a small venue in Detroit around 2006 or 07…absolutely the best live performance I’ve seen in my life. I get chills when I think about it. I’m trying to think of how to describe it, but I’m speechless. All these years later ❤
This song was used as the background theme when the Channel 2 in my country (Teleantillas Canal 2) (Dominican Republic) was closed at midnight. That was when i was a little kid back in the very early 90's, and i always loved to stay awake until midnight just to listen to this masterpiece, and finally i discovered the name of this song.
totally agree obviouslly not the original soundtrack, too clean! very disappointing if you're a horn player, drives me crazy, it's very nearly as bad as watching non musician actors pretending to play

Got this on vinyl. One of my favorites
I remember in the mid 80's my high school marching band used to play this song during their halftime show. Have loved this song since then.

It used to be a theme of a sport program on the Dutch radio in the 80's
In the early 80s, this was a theme song for two of the greatest races in all of motorsports: the Daytona 500 and the Bathurst 1000.
Love it!
Fantastic !!
Outstanding 2022.
Played this song in marching band
A master piece!!!👏👏👏
❤❤
Mangione hit this one out of the park. And, it's still going.........
That bass guitar is on point.

Ende 70er.
The video doesn’t Connect with the music in line.. 🤔🤔 That’s a pitty!!!

Yeah. And sometimes they used it when there was a Blackout on the Channel Building.
The DR seems to have lost its music soul, only hear extremely loud, obnoxious trap noise now. Youth do not even know good music.
A man and his flugelhorn.....
A really bad video....the sound and the clip don't match...a difference of 5 seconds or more....but it's always a pleasure to listen to this song

Shame on you! Soundtrack is from the album, video from a random show of Chuck, and you spent not a second of work to synchronize anything.
I know, right! 🙄
The video is so out of sync that it looks like he's faking the flugelhorn playing lol.

Had to be inspired by the Children of Sanchez song. The drums are almost identical.
