However, I have a question that goes like this. How many hours do you suggest we let the water to rest before coming to check the PH level again? Also, Can you add the soda ash to the pond while you have fishes inside? Assuming it's a grow out pond. Thanks once again
The type of pond you use will determine if the pH will neutralize if you go your water. You can't add soda ash directly. You can only add directly into your pond after mixing in a bowl of water before mixing with the pond water. This can only be done for fingerlings stage and above

You can wait for 15minutes. Pls don't add it directly to a pond with fish better stills add to the water in your storage tank before using. Adding directly can kill the fishes

Hello Hambal from Ghana. You can do either of the two. But best is doing continuous flow through throughout the hatching process, as you're most likely to have a higher hatching rate due to increased and sustained dissolved oxygen

You don't need a buffer. You need something to reduce the ph

Lastly pls ma. I didn't get the list of items needed for hatching with this procedures.
This is just for the preparation of the vat
1) Hatching vat
2) Spawning net
3) pH meter
4) Salt
5) Soda ash if the pH is low
And would the sodium CHLO be needed for a steady flow
Yes it would if the pH from your water source is low.
That's why I said in the video you can buffer it from your storage tank
