Riding from Heiligenblut Austria up to the Grossglockner pass over the Alps on a bright summer afternoon.
Enjoying my new Yamaha Tracer 700 on a tour through Tirol Austria exploring this part of the Alps.
The Grossglockner High Alpine Road (in German Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße) is the highest surfaced mountain pass road in Austria. It connects Bruck in the state of Salzburg with Heiligenblut in Carinthia via Fuscher Törl and Hochtor Pass at 2,504 m (8,215 ft). The road is named after the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain. Built as a scenic route, a toll is assessed for passage.

These cyclist cycling up these mountains have my Respect for sure, what a incredible effort. I have seen young and old, men and women of all ages going up and down these mountains. I wonder how long it took them to cycle up this mountain pass.

Have you recognized a loss of Horsepower because of thin Air?

I am sure there is plenty more to see in Austria. I was there for a few day's and was able to see some more around south tirol. What a beautiful country. Here in the Netherlands everything is flat so it is a big contrast for me. I did not really notice the loss of horse power on the bike up in the mountains because this was my first long ride coming from a 500 cc bike to a 700 cc bike ;)
Merci, leuke film, en zoals het t leukste is, alsof je zelf op de motor zit. (op een grote monitor!)
Mvr C en mijzelfe gaan al 30 jaar als t even kan zomers de alpen in. achtereenvolgens op een cb750, een yamaha xjr1200 en al 22 jaar met een st1100 paneuropean.
en idd zoals hieronder ook vermeld: als die vermaledijde covid er niet was.!!
Maar goed deze filmpjes helpen wel wat tegen fernweh. Groet uit Velsen

Maar leuk te zien dat je voor een Tracer 7 hebt gekozen om juist daar in de Alpen mee rond te toeren. ;)
Heb tegenwoordig ook een MT07 voor het strakke sturen over de dijkjes, door de polders te ploegen en de binnensteden mee door te crossen.
Heerlijk fietsje, waarvoor de 09 en Z900 vaak op stal moeten blijven. ;)
Hee KwakBoy. Ja de trouwe Honda is ingeruild voor deze leuke tracer 7. Even wennen na zo veel jaar op de cbr500r maar meteen veel mooie kilometers gemaakt.

Als die malle 4us-idioterie er niet tussen was gekomen, zou er veel meer gereden zijn.
Mag hopen dat we spoedig nog eens wat ritjes in groepsverband kunnen doen zonder de resticties van die bestuurlijke maloten, ook wel het werkelijke 4us genaamd. ;)
