I finally got Demon Prince to work.
yay
How about wolnir just wolnir left you were said demon prince wasn't working but you solve it how about wolnir
@@enessahin9289 Gael doesn't know how to fight Wolnir. He just runs into the smoke, and dies.
@@Pantaganawait there was a mechanic like this at this fight😂😂
i finished game 4 times and i think only boss i didn't died even once was wolnir
i'll watch video about it and i think for the record you should show it on stream
@@Pantagana Wolnir has those anti-gael hacks.
Imagine being summoned for the spears of the church and then just seeing Gael
I’d cry 😂
now the real fight begins
Thats what l wanted to say
I'd have to beat gael with no estus... yeah no I'm turning of the wifi
I'd piss meself but still accept the challenge, definitely would have been a highlight to the last video I made
Wow Gael vs Midir was the closest fight i have ever seen.
Yeah... i want a rematch of that fight
Gael should've won that, but his A.I. is bad.
@@drabin391 Midir`s AI isnt good in this fight etiher tho.
@@cclsuda3022 Midir has one weak point for full damage though. So bad AI is less of an issue when you don't have to deal with a weak spot.
Same
Gael vs. Midir, best fight I've ever seen, no exaggeration. Absolute god-tier brawl of the ages.
Fax that was the most hype i have ever felt at the end i was hard rooting for Midir to be the only boss out of the entire series to beat gael
Then you might wanna see Dragonslayer Armour vs Midir. Someone else made that video and it looks more awesome.

@@Anri_o1 Aldrich was very close too. I guess, the winner in this fight depends on Aldrich's rng. After two arrow shower attacks Gael wouldn't survive imo.
I remember Gael being less helpful against the demons
Yeah
And much smaller aswell
I'm late but I wish we got to see both versions of the second phase. Pain demon probably would've did better.
@@uberrobi The bigger the legend surrounding someone the bigger their physical stature. The ashen one doesn't ever have his name recognized, which is why they are always small
@@seki3511 As much as I hate to, mostly due to how much I like the Pain Prince's moveset, I disagree. His windups take far longer than the Prince from Below and when interrupted, are far less accurate or damaging. If the lasers didn't work, the meteor shower wouldn't have done any better. That, and given how close the Midir brawl went, I'd say neither had a chance _in hell._
Every other boss: *fails to beat gael*

Didn't know Midir was Gordon Ramsay
And also a laser gun

This is actually Gael path to Ringed City
Definitely not. NPC Gael can't handle the DLC bosses on his own.
@@xXLunatikxXlul At least there's an excuse for boss Gael being so much stronger, he consumed the Dark Soul.
Gael vs Curse-rotted Greatwood looks like something I did when I first fought the boss
It was hilarious just looking at Gael desperately hacking at him in the first phase and taking like 10 minutes for him to find the weak spot lol
@@KanohiVahi also it was the "cursed" great wood so faith based holy magic 2 shotted it
I like how he hit everything but the sacks and always attacked at the wrong time. xD
@@Ambar42 and one of the only times he does hit the sacks was completely by accident
That fight and the Deacons of the Deep fight earlier goes to show that the AI doesn't know how to handle the puzzle bosses (the ones that take no damage except for when certain places are hit) compared to the ones that are a pretty straightforward fight. I mowed through Deacons of the Deep like they weren't there thanks to the Hollowslayer Greatsword; probably would still have been easy even without that particular sword.
Gael: ''You know i kinda see myself as the final boss''
Midir: ''Not in my arena you're not''

Midir: Ok, let's get serious now! *changes phase*
Gael: AIGHT! *also changes phase*

Halflight:literally just Spawns

Dead meme
@@eldenjohn9236 wow dude. you really just commented dead meme on a post from a year ago. of course it's dead by now
I really like how the halflight fight went down, kinda like Gael went in expecting to be able to just steamroll the place and initially it works but as halflight gets summoned and starts building up phases and weapons Gael starts getting stunned really badly.
Second half felt tactical like he almost intentionally killed halflight's backup and source of healing before going phase 3 and immediately kicking his head in. In a world where this isn't random AI, Gael made sure Halflight couldn't get up then caught him off guard by doing a wide slash from behind the pillar to tell halflight "N O" and I love it
Agreed, halflight did a lot better than i expected, but once gael got into phase 3 it was over fast, but still impressive how fast he got gael into phase 3
that round the pillar maneuver was what really sealed the deal. There's no way Half would be able to survive the incoming attack + the lightning spaces
The wide salsh behind the pillar is cool as hell
Isn't it great that one of the most powerful beings in the series is "just" a human?
I mean, as an undead the guy might just be the most experienced fighter in all of Dark Souls considering just how much he has fought and the shit he’s been through. Add in the fact he literally has the frickin dark soul inside of him and it makes sense that he’s one of the most powerful beings in the verse. Slave Knight Gael may be a very sad character, but he sure as hell is badass.
That's untrue in so many ways tho. "Humans" in DS are not humans at all, even most fantasy alien creatures are closer to us than those things Miyazaki made.
Also, Gael is a mutated undead, that makes him as much "DS human" as Blight Town fire-spidery creatures.
And he is powerful only compared to the level of the decayed age we played in. Manus, for instance, was probably stronger, with lesser portion of the ds, but it was in it's prime state, not some dark blood drags. And he was more suited to wield it, unlike Gael who is no champion. Even so, Arty (a good but normal knight) would've probably beat him, or gotten close, if he wasn't so culture shocked by the abyss, and didn't leave his miracle shield with Sif.
@@Dagnot well humans are still humans like sieglinde siegmeyers daughter
She’s still a human she never caught the curse so no humans are still humans it’s just undead that might be classified in a different category
Hes just built different
@@Dagnot yes they are, just cause they're undead doesn't mean they're not human.
Midir vs gael has to be the most epic shit iv ever seen lowkey was rooting for midir the whole time

Midir vs Gael was a heckin cinematic fight ngl. Happy to see two of my favourite bosses clutch eatch other in a battle.
For some odd reason I find this video series to be lore accurate. Gael, who fought in the most bleakest and horrific of battles against the dragons, and still managed to persist since the age of the Gods, which most probably was many millennia ago at the time of the third game, would obviously be much more of a powerful being compared to the weaklings we come up against in Dark Souls 3. It seems somehow appropriate that he would meet his end at the claws of one of his ancient enemies, after a very hard fought close fight. I think it would have been beautifully poetic if Gael and Midir would have killed each other, dying together.
Awesome video trilogy dude. You just got a sub :)
They damn near did kill each other lol. I would've liked that
And remember, gaels sword was literally broken (I know that doesn't change the amount of damage he does).... It makes him hella badass
9:40
After watching Gael whiff on this move every time he's tried to use it for last 40 minutes, this headshot on Midir was profoundly satisfying.
4:37 damn, wish this was the version of Gael that we could summon for the fight lmao, makes the Demon Prince look like a pushover
@Serginio You could summon Gael as well to the fight
Perma stunlock.
Gael: “I fear no man.
But that thing…”
DARKEATER MIDIR
“It scares me!”
Fym midir literally had no health left, if he could still feel emotions he def getting ptsd from gael.
@@iamMildlyUpsetWithMostOfYouTub Midir predates the First Flame, he has seen everything there is to see. Literally. Gods and Empires have risen and fallen, as have the ages. He has devoured all, great and small.
That last fight is amazing holy crap!
The Spears of the Church did a damn good job. If a player showed up that might have been the end for Gael.
Dude seemed buffed so no fight was ever going to be fair.
最後のミディールとの戦いめっちゃいい勝負やん
Nice!! I was waiting for that video
The last one was SOOO close!
Main thing this series proves is Gael was given a bit too much health
I wonder how much damage a fully charged Meteor Attack from Demon Prince would have dealt, alas he got the Beam Version
From what I've seen and experienced, it almost seems that the Demon in Pain version (Meteor) fights a little smarter than the Beam version as well. Those little fireballs that keep attacking while he does the meteor attack keep you somewhat off balance. (best strat is to try to rush him....the AI isn't always going to do that)
It would probably come close to wiping him out because I seen that almost one hit a couple bosses in a Battle Royale with them all and that meteor attack does either the most damage of all of them or is in the top three I guarantee it
How to slow down time: watch Gael vs the master egg sack...those first 4 mins felt like an eternity
Poor Gael having poison knives spammed at him
Gael has super resistance against everything. No matter is it Soul of Cinder, Friede or Nameless, they only can deal like 150-200 hp per hit to him getting ~500 in return. Only Midir seems to break this rule, but still his laser deals about 300 dmg while Gael's regular hit is ~500.
gael machine gun crossbow > every soul of cinder weapon mode
The ending with that duel of darkness vs fire was EPICO !! Along with the fight against Aldrich they were the most even, defined by a blow.
Was really hoping for Midir to win, nice!
Midir is truly the strongest in the game with Gael as a very very close second
That fight with Midir though 🍿
This video confirms that Midir is the hardest boss.
lol, lmao even
Gael finally having the dark soul has just offered himself as a food to the Darkeater itself, close one but wrong move buddy.
9:51 the way he walks up after the camera losses him.
11:02 it's almost poetic that he was left battered and bruised by human potential.
A fight for the ages, a dragon trained by the gods to hunt the abyss just protecting its last semblance of a home.
And a human/pigmy/undead
(whatever you think.)
pulling away from the gods control, to consume the abyss and hoping for a new home after his sacrifice.
I love the dissrespect with the "boltgun"
both midir and gael flexing at each other with dark power
Some great matches. Kinda glad Midir beat Gael, makes sense because where as Gael is the canonical last boss Midir is the bonus "superboss" who are usually just as strong(er) than the "real" last boss. That match got me suspended to high heavens. XD
God I wish I could play dark souls like Gael: not timing any rolls and just fucking shit up.
ゲール爺めちゃめちゃ強くて草
Imagine being summoned to help the boss and instead of a player, you see Gael XD
"Well, shi-"
*auto-crossbow'd to death*
who would win?
-ancient dragon with iron skin breathing chaos flames
-a repeating crossbow
I certainly didn’t expect gael to take more damage from halflight than the demons
Gael's repeater crossbow destroys. The range is insane.
Gael going through Midir's fire like it's a just normal summer breeze
That Midir fight! Down to the wire! What a match!
Aldritch, Yhorm, the Twin brothers, Halflight and of course Midir are awesome fights. When stage 2 begins in his battle vs. Halflight he does a flying attack in a really cool looking way OMG.
Imagine you're in the Spear of the church covenant and you get summoned just to see end game Gael
Gael gave the tree the antman thanos treatment
Gael is a true man, never hits the balls.
Can't believe they forgot a boss! I was hoping to see him fight fight himself at the end just to cap it off but unfortunately Midir just barely squeaked a win out
NOOOO FREAKIN WAAAY THAT LAST BATTLE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
the ending against midyr was epic
5:30 very nice
That crossbow is the most OP thing ever
I've never seen Midir win against Gael before. The enormous size is the main weakness for him since he is an easy target for AoE lightning strikes and a reapiting-crossbow machinegun (Not to mention its usually gets targeted onto his head), yet it was a solidly very close fight. GG.
Really that's the best end I could've hoped for.
Midir wins the war.
Gael got so amazingly unlucky in that final battle it defies comprehension. Had he hit Midir even one more time in the head, had he not missed those two downward strikes by mere inches, had Midir not gone for the laser at the start of the fight while Gael was right in front of him and took full damage, had Gael not gone for an explosion of souls while Midir was recovering from recoil as opposed to just swinging his sword once or twice, had Midir not pulled his head back at the last microsecond with the one move in his move-set that could have saved him... Gods, that needs a rematch.
i was rooting for midir and i was hoping he would use his laser beam in second face, i also would like a rematch
I redid this fight many times, and this is the closest Gael got to winning.
@@Pantagana that's weird, because Gael won quite convincingly here ua-cam.com/video/6OANt0-sImk/v-deo.html

Midir wins without using laser in the 2nd phase? that's great! Shame for Gael ;)
Even Gael when fought against Midir said:
"Damn i'm finished...."
Curse-Rotten Greatwood actually did so well. I was suprised.
The last fight was insaneeeeeee
I like the fact that Gael didn’t choose to spam the Gatling Crossbow and fight Midir fairly
My kids and I broke out into cheers when midir won.
Gael: "I stand as the last living being on this earth. What hope could a corrupted thing like _you_ have to stand against me?"
Midir: *REEEEEEEEEEE*
I was not surprised by Midir winning that fight.
-I am inevitable
-And i... am Midir *Shoots epic lazer*
Jesus Christ that bow attack is overpowered...he took like 25% of midir's health in the beginning
Gael literally climbed inside Greatwood to finish it
Dude, that midir fight was fucking badass
Bruh... I’m on Midir in my own playthrough, and lemme say. It doesn’t seem HARD, I just have to be patient. Midir is often really vulnerable, but the thing that gets me the most is his downwards fire breath when I’m right underneath him.
Imagine being summoned in for spear of the church and finding Gael XD
Midir fight was EPIC!!
I think in some of the close ones Gael is lucky he has high resistance.
Wow,,I just watched part 2 and was won wondering when the other buses will drop. Now this pops up in my feed and I'm like LOL
If my boy Gael would stop trying to tank EVERYTHING, he woulda won the last fight.
The fact that I’ve defeated all these bosses at least twice is awesome to me.
Galen is the third hardest boss for me after Midir and Lady Frieda.
The best AI of bosses has to be sister Friede
It's okay gael, you'll get it next time
Gael v Midir was great! It was so close! Could've gone either way.
9:11 man, this was just so incredibly badass 🔥🔥🔥
He's back
"Midir, descendant of the Archdragons, was raised by the gods, and owing to his immortality was given a duty to eternally battle the *DARK*, a duty that he would never forget, even after the gods perished."
He never forgot that, he's the Dark Souls' Hachiko.
The goodest boy ever.
Ah that's where he went hollow.
This is what happens when you REALLY eat darkness gael.
9:41 Epic anime fight yeaaaah
I would say Ancient Wyvern and Darkeater Midir were the only evenly matched fights I saw in this series.
