How to change the oil in 2007-2009 Kawasaki z1000 and other z1000 models.
This process is more or less the same for all Japanese motorcycles.

An oil change is NOT as hard as it may seem, albeit if you have a full fairing bike you will need to do some digging by removing your plastic pieces. Once you have done that, the process should be the same.
You should do your oil changes yourself so you can get to know your motorcycle.

Your red oil light was blinking after startup
What tht means?
@@pedroleon1327 low or no oil pressure. Not good for engine
My 2010 z1000 is blinking tht light but Idk why? When the panel is on the light blink but when the engine is on the light turn off

@@pedroleon1327 if the light turns off and stops blinking when the engine starts then thats normal. Light should not be on or blink when you start the engine. Light should turn on/blink when you turn the key on.
It's a zed,not a zee
in everywhere else in the world you're 100% right, if I go to a bike shop here in the states and say Zed 1000 I'd probably have to repeat myself a few times lol

Yep thats right. Technically it asks for 3.8 liters but I'd just throw that extra 0.2 liters and call it a day
