      I don't think it's an ability. It's not even so much about being able bodied. People without legs can do it. It's more a state of mind and you just have to skate every day to get to that level.

      ConductorCat or anything that involves getting more than 3' off the ground, being a super tech skater was cool in the early 1990s, but doing a bunch of pressure flips on flat isn't really very hard, 95% of pros could do any of these tricks within an hour of practicing them. The reason no one records stuff like that is because almost every variation you could ever think of was in a video part from 1985-1995. There's no real NBD tricks left, maybe some slight variations what would be hard to find footage of, but unless you figure out an entirely new way to stand on a skateboard, someone else has already don't it. I mean here's an example, everyone was all stoked about the "Merlin flip" a few years ago thinking it was a new trick but there was literally dozens of 180 ff impossibles done in professional videos from the 90s, it was a common trick because it's not really that difficult and looks steezy. I'd like to see giger actually do some of these tech tricks down a 10 stair, that would be worth filming. But honestly I don't know he could, people who get insanely good at flat ground so it because they're scared of skating big

    Wait, that's a 360 nerd flip. Just when I though I could do a trick before you've learned it...
    I can do 180 nerd flips and it often overrotates, so it's probably not that hard.

    • @claudemartin5907
      @claudemartin5907 8 років тому

      However, the nerd flip wasn't easy to learn. The foot position is awkward and I have to put a lot of pressure on the front foot before I pop, so it's even more awkward.

    • @claudemartin5907
      @claudemartin5907 8 років тому

      Certainly not 0° Fahrenheit. At night it's about 5°C now. That's 41°F. It gets colder. But even in January it's only around 0°C in average. It's a misconception that it's very cold. That's only true for the alps, which obviously are very cold. The glaciers are always cold. And 4000 meters above sea level it's often below 0°F.
