Mr. Johnny Giger, you are super cool. I like your accent, i absolutely love your skating, and i like your attitude. I think you are my new favorite skater.
jonny lookin like the love child of james franco and tupac in this lol also HOLY FUCK the impact from that guy throwing his board...i felt it all the way here in america
I don't think it's an ability. It's not even so much about being able bodied. People without legs can do it. It's more a state of mind and you just have to skate every day to get to that level.
ConductorCat or anything that involves getting more than 3' off the ground, being a super tech skater was cool in the early 1990s, but doing a bunch of pressure flips on flat isn't really very hard, 95% of pros could do any of these tricks within an hour of practicing them. The reason no one records stuff like that is because almost every variation you could ever think of was in a video part from 1985-1995. There's no real NBD tricks left, maybe some slight variations what would be hard to find footage of, but unless you figure out an entirely new way to stand on a skateboard, someone else has already don't it. I mean here's an example, everyone was all stoked about the "Merlin flip" a few years ago thinking it was a new trick but there was literally dozens of 180 ff impossibles done in professional videos from the 90s, it was a common trick because it's not really that difficult and looks steezy. I'd like to see giger actually do some of these tech tricks down a 10 stair, that would be worth filming. But honestly I don't know he could, people who get insanely good at flat ground so it because they're scared of skating big
man I wish you had videos back when I skated I was just as determined as you but back in 05 videos were very limited I need to get back on and start trying these tricks
You must have a good portion of the year where you can't skate in Switzerland because of the weather. It's similar here in Scotland but for a different reason. It rains here like every other day. No joke
Wait, that's a 360 nerd flip. Just when I though I could do a trick before you've learned it... I can do 180 nerd flips and it often overrotates, so it's probably not that hard.
However, the nerd flip wasn't easy to learn. The foot position is awkward and I have to put a lot of pressure on the front foot before I pop, so it's even more awkward.
JG since it is sold col you should try to do a noselide on a concrete ledge using ice instead of wax. Or a casper on ice, lol. Wear a helmet and pads if you try the casper, I tried to learn power slides on ice once and ate shit alot (ALOT)
Started skating today as I need to devote myself to some sort of cardio😂 but I'm really enjoying it... Got my Ollie down easy af, got my heel flip down on like 3rd try after watching a few tutorials, and then I got my backside 180 down, I can't seem to get my kick flip down, the board just flys away😂 I can't quite get my frontside 180, and I'm struggling with 180 pop shoves but I can 360 pop shove fine, anyone got any tips?
Can you put the text during the takes as closed captions. Personally I like watching the takes without the comments, so would like the option of turning them off..
Certainly not 0° Fahrenheit. At night it's about 5°C now. That's 41°F. It gets colder. But even in January it's only around 0°C in average. It's a misconception that it's very cold. That's only true for the alps, which obviously are very cold. The glaciers are always cold. And 4000 meters above sea level it's often below 0°F.
I think the bounce is what makes the trick cool and unique.
I personally thought the bounce looked really cool.
There should be more bounce-based tricks.
Claude Martin I completely agree. It always looks so damn cool.
ACTUALMIKU same
I like the bounce too.
yeah, it did look dope
7:18 no wonder why no else is skating there lol, from 0 to 10 000% rage without warning haha
Yeah I was thinking who this douchebag is..
Mr. Johnny Giger, you are super cool. I like your accent, i absolutely love your skating, and i like your attitude. I think you are my new favorite skater.
i cant even imagine what its like to be this good like wth

"dont swear, dont swear on the internet... dont do that... do not do that..." hahahhahah had me rollingggggg lol
jonny lookin like the love child of james franco and tupac in this lol
also HOLY FUCK the impact from that guy throwing his board...i felt it all the way here in america
Mr. Giger. You are one of my favourite people to watch hahah. If you're ever in the UK mate let me know ❤
Matt DWMC holy shit hi Matt
I think it's radder when the deck hits the ground and bounces up
Lol I got an Aaron kyro Scientology ad before this
Richard Lindquist aron kyro is a scientologist?
Tomas Ferreira yep they put targeted ads for skateboarding about Scientology because Aaron kyro is one
GoFigglo that doesnt make sense. is he like in the ads?
Tomas Ferreira yeah he's in them
Aaron has a youtube ad now?
It was a beauty! :) You landed a great trick I have to say! :)
Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen this one. Nicely done!
i don't wanna be skating this weather you are amazingly inspiring thanks jonny
I liked the captions at the bottom
I just realized that dude was roasting a bone lmao
I noticed right away it looked like his buddy was smoking a joint against the fence
You legit learn a new tricks every day, I need that kind of ability in my life.
I don't think it's an ability. It's not even so much about being able bodied. People without legs can do it. It's more a state of mind and you just have to skate every day to get to that level.
Keep rolling Johny.I am watching your videos for quite some time..Greetings from Greece!
best thumbnail ever.👍
(I'm not sarcastic, I really mean it, and the trick of course, and props to the front board bigspin out, that one looked cool)
Did you two ever meet?
If not, why not, please do! If yes, was it filmed? :D
herrreinsch you must try it to that would be amazing
Lol Jonny does look cold af tho, like coldshock in the face.
J giges, can I call you J giges, your the man!
Jonny may not do the biggest rails, stairs, or gaps, but I could watch him skate all day.

Foot placement looks so awesomely gnarly!
"du not du dat" best accent ever!!!
I see you in winter clothes and then I look at myself in shorts and shirtless, mid November and still at 36ºC in my city.

Sup Foo Than do it bitch

It's so fun xD
Jonny Giger is my favorite skater.
that front board bigspin pop over was ill!
pretty nice, I think it looks pretty dope with the bounce. you should give it your own name for it.
Man that bounce looked cool
damn I have to say your skill on the board is really unreal... You make it look so easy, big ups.. really man, insane
Wtf??? Never seen a grind like that.
Your videos never fail to put a smile on my face 🖤
Make a video with your dudes at the whole park...

THATS CALLED A NERD FLIP? oh my god I have been doing that for years and hadn't known what to call it haha. THANK YOU!
Awesome! I've been trying to learn a weird trick myself.. front shuv to Benihana on flat lol
That is a weird one
I heard someone talking about that at my local haha
one of my absolute favorite tricks
man I wish you had videos back when I skated I was just as determined as you but back in 05 videos were very limited I need to get back on and start trying these tricks
0° Fahrenheit sind aber -18° Celsius ^^
übertreibung macht anschaulich
Martin Kuss 32 Fahrenheit = 0° Celsius
just use celsius anyway, since fahrenheit is much less commonly used x)
invisible underflips are my favourite.
You must have a good portion of the year where you can't skate in Switzerland because of the weather. It's similar here in Scotland but for a different reason. It rains here like every other day. No joke
Another sick video man keep up the good work!!! :)
It looked pretty darn cool to me
the bounce off the floor was cool, it seemed intentional
I think the bounce looks dope..
What size deck do you like to ride Johnny? Also, do you think having wheels higher off the ground gives more leverage and angle to snap a better pop?
u are my favorite skater. my flat ground friend. i can kickflip heelflip and shoveit... u r inspirating as hell doe. also im 23 to too
Wait, that's a 360 nerd flip. Just when I though I could do a trick before you've learned it...
I can do 180 nerd flips and it often overrotates, so it's probably not that hard.

yep, tha't true that was a 360 nerdflip, aka kiwi flip
RIP to that dudes board 🧐🤔😂
Ur boys last clip was insane. I'm stoked to see him smoking stoges and cursing lol. The UA-cam skaters rarely have any of that real shit.
great trick man hopefully with enough practice i can be as great as you are one day
yo the bounce is dope
I can nerdflip, thanks for reminding me, was some time ago I did them
eu tenho nollie 360 fs shovet na base , vo tentar essa kkkkkkk
confirmed, so freezy man, gg
it is cool when it bounces off the ground dude.
Anyone notice that every trick he shows us is a 'really rare trick' lmaooo
Jonny is such a nerd. :D
fakie dolphin flip or nollie dolphin flip, so the board does a backflip moving forward.
you should try and skate switch for a whole day and see what it's like, might br interesting to see a few lines
that line the filmer got was dirty
Ahah didn't notice the nsfw drawing on the bank ! Nice vid btw.
Oh my god dude I love the "Namaste" at the end I watched it like 10 times..
Keep up the vids Jonny.

You look pissed at that guy
Where in Switzerland is this skatepark? Johnny Giger

Jonny, Do some street skating videos
WTF is his Problem in 7:18???
What are you gonna do in the winter? Go to the US?
JG since it is sold col you should try to do a noselide on a concrete ledge using ice instead of wax. Or a casper on ice, lol. Wear a helmet and pads if you try the casper, I tried to learn power slides on ice once and ate shit alot (ALOT)
It's funny how people from far away can do this.
Looks more like a 360 pressure flip
Jonny Giger What music do you use on your videos?
Ps do a fs 180 bs 180 all in the air
Pretty sure that would just be a shifty ollie.
Tyler Lipscomb not landing switch thouth..
skaterdiy lol thats a shifty ollie
BennaDryll wrong comment
What is it called when you do this trick with just a 180 flip and not a 360? Nerd still?
Do a video on mid 1990's pressure flips.
Luke Tait Fitness your a Bird, Fly
I want to see the triple nerd

Is this skaterpark not in Vaduz? (Vaduz belongs to Liechtenstein and not to Swiss)
JOHNY! How do keep motivated to skate? I can skate only 4 hours a week, i cant get better that way so it's hard to get motivated😢
semventure
if you don't want it you don't want it but if you want it you want it
thisssssss^^
dass da einfach hail moneyboy an der ramp steht :D
Why does the fence not have fence where it's most important? all the run away boards will end up in the field :P
Can you put the text during the takes as closed captions.
Personally I like watching the takes without the comments, so would like the option of turning them off..
Sort of nollie tre-heel-flip...with bounce
I wonder how cold is freezing cold in Switzerland
Certainly not 0° Fahrenheit. At night it's about 5°C now. That's 41°F. It gets colder. But even in January it's only around 0°C in average. It's a misconception that it's very cold. Claude Martin so that's like our summer here in Finland...
I once was in California in January, it was hotter than some summers here. Especially in LA.
Which pants are you wearing ?
Where are you in Switzerland ?
Dude sooooooo sickkkkkqqqq
I thought u learned all the Trix already big dog
was that guy smoking a spliff?
whos ur buddy hes pretty sick!

Martin Kuss
pressureflip underflip !
That's about it. It looks like a nollie pressure flip / hard flip, but you flip it with the toes.
