Day 1 of the 2021 Meeting of the Voorburg Group on Service Statistics

The 36th Voorburg Group Meeting took place virtually, hosted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, DC, in September 2021. The primary objective of the Voorburg Group on Service Statistics is to establish an internationally comparable methodology for measuring constant price outputs of the service industries. The focus of the Voorburg Group is to develop concepts, methods, and best practices in the area of services.
Day 1 featured presentations on warehousing and storage, renting and leasing motor vehicles, new developments in Costa Rica and the UK Deflator Gateway, lessons learned in dealing with shocks, and presentation of new Voorburg Group Strategic Plan.
