G’day there, I’m just wondering do you know if this portable TV will be able to pick up Australian TV channels on it? I’m looking to get this TV to take with me to record some Ballarat TV when I go up Western Victorian way next. Cheers. 😎
I have managed to get a Casio EV-600 handheld TV to work with DVD and a chromestick using an RF modulator. This severes no actual purpose except that I now own a functioning handheld TV that's is a proud part of my retro 90's collection 😂😍
@@ReEnthused My everyday carry includes a. Palm Zire Z22 PDA and a Psion Series 5 lol. I don't even use a smartphone. But my true passion is Casio electronics. Everything from watches to calculators and everything in between.
Hello there. I have a question about the micro SD card. Can you put movies on the micro SD and watch it on the Leadstar? Please let me know. Thank you for your time.
There’s no mention of it and I have no easy way of testing if it does. Obviously if can take a coaxial cable so you could connect a decoder, but I’m afraid I’ve no idea if it would work
Can you boot on SD card and use it like a mini TV? like if you watch a MP4 video from the sd card it will start the next one after it or juste end and back to the selection screen?
Why buy this when you can watch TV on the Smartphone you already have. If you already stream TV at home you can add the app on your phone and watch it there as well.
It can be useful for people that don't have modern smartphones, particularily the elderly or children when you're away from the house. Plus there are places where you can't legitimately stream terrestrial TV on a phone. Whilst, yes, for many people this might not have a use case, it will for some.
I can’t say if it would work in the US or not - it works here in the UK, which probably means it won’t work in the US (for digital TV), but there might be a US variant out there - it’s not like these companies to leave money on the table
Your British mumbling is hard to understand, would it be too much for you try to imitate u.s-Canadian accent? Which is much ,easier to understand, just like actors do it in movies…
Thank you for the review. It is an interesting little unit.

In theory it should work, it supports a wide enough frequency band, unfortunately I couldn't say for definite that it would

Yes it can, and from the USB port too, it says it supports up to 1080p content but I had best results with 720p
@@ReEnthused Awesome. Thank you for the reply.
Does your DVB-T2 tuner only DVB-T2 and no digital cable (DVB-C)?

Do you know what the polarity of the charging port is? I lost the manual. Thanks.
It's 12v/1.5a Center positive

It will play every video, one after the other, and then loop around when it finishes the last. There are options to change how this works too
