Thanks for showing us this process. I am learning so much about solar from you guys! It will come in handy when we start our "Most of the Timers" portion of RV Life in a couple of years. 😊
Exciting test to watch but also tad irritating to me as I was thinking: "Why doesn't he fire up Lenny and make a 90 degree turn to the left (yes, temporarily blocking the parking lot) to get the panels out of the shade and let the sun hit them directly full on?" Eventually you showed the disassembled dash - "Oh, that's why." Pretty ball'zy move in a parking lot that public is not allowed to be in after closing. But its always easier to apologize than ask for permission. Wonderful to have such easy access to all the wiring from the factory at the bus' front. Thanks for the continued solar and electrical education. Colt's head poking through the window was uplifting. Hope Sam doesn't think she's in trouble with that "submission" pose. Probably just needs attention time outside Lenny - more like previous times. Hope you connected and took possession of the permanent panels. Wishing you four a grand weekend.
"Irritated" is way wrong word, more like "excited anticipation to see the results". They told you enough and the 360 degree camera advancing was more important. You're right and its your project, so my bad.
Joel, you could build a lightweight awning style frame for the panels using emt conduit and fittings. It's metal conduit used for electrical wiring. They have it at the orange, and the blue box.
In the future if you are getting a LTL truck delivery with a pallet, ask the shipper to notate on bill of lading you need a "Lift Gate for Delivery/No dock available" so they will drop down the pallet level to the ground off the lift gate of truck. Smaller box truck for resdential delivery will be used then. Enjoy seeing your progress.
There is double sided tape you could get? I used it to stack panels to top off my fiberglass truck bed cover. They’ve been on for 1 1/2 years. Unless you want windows covers?? Good luck
I know, I know.... It's about the solar but those doggies are so cool!!! 😊

You guys plan on getting a DC/DC charger from the engine to the batteries? that'll help take the stress off relying on solar 100% the time
People in the hood hookup solar panels like that. Lol😂😂😂 jk That’s not a good position for them panels and it’s labor intensive.
