The way you linked (no pun intended) so many games together literally blew my mind.
It was a lot of fun to make this video, and it certainly blew my mind too when I was doing my research. Thanks for watching!
no, you intend your puns
I am really interested in your updated theory after playing Tears of the Kingdom. Especially since Sonia is said to be a decendant of SS Zelda.
They kind of changed their mind mid-development. A little annoying, since TotK is meant to be in the same version of the world as BotW. But they still pretty much ignored BotW and retconned a lot of things...
I respect the amount of work you put into this. Many Zelda theories on UA-cam are pure speculation, but your theory actually has evidence for everything you mention. Keep up the great content.
Thank you! Glad you liked it! It was a lot of fun to research all of this information and make this video! I'll do more theories in the future aside from my regular Lore content!
Your theory is very similar to mine mine is just a bit bigger.
you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend for the last few weeks =)
@Israel Elon Yup, I've been watching on InstaFlixxer for years myself :)
@Israel Elon Yea, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for months myself =)
Zonai confirmed for Tears of the Kingdom! You were on this 3 years ago! Mad respect for your symbology work! That was so cool. It’s blowing my mind that the ties could go back all the way to the 90s
but... everything was wrong? lol
@@wedding6515 They changed a lot of things during development. Now they decided to make a new version of the what the Oocca were in TP. I'm kind of annoyed by this new direction, especially since they left the old Zonai architecture from BotW in Hyrule together with their new style from the sky (and depths?)...
In one video you managed to explain 3 of the most burning questions in the current Zelda lore: the origins of the Twili, the creation of Majora' s Mask, and the origins of the Zonai.
Color me impressed.
I'm kind of blown away by the low subscribers and low view counts. You are doing the right things with your videos, they are interesting and well made so keep it up and the people will get here eventually.
Thank you so much Josh! Comments like these mean the world! I won't stop, trust me! I have SO much stuff to cover I have years of content to make XD thanks for watching!

This aged better than I thought. I think most of the video is still valid except for the fact that the Zonai were Sheikahs. Well done!
I feel like the Sheikahs are the result of a Zonai/Hyrulian kingdom, if you know what I mean. We see it with Rauru and Sonia. There are so many overlaps between Zonai and Sheikah "culture".
@@freethegays Yeah definitely, because much of Sheikah tech are basically upgraded versions of the Zonai's
It will always be valid for BotW.
There are many theories popping up after the botw 2 trailer. This one so far has been my favourite!

Honestly, why did it take us so long to connect the dots?
The fact that Zonai soon will have a visual appearance who closely resemble midna's dwarf like form in the official artbook connects this all together is insane. The fact this was all in front of us in outfits and location details baffels me
I love this theory, and really hope it’s true. If any Zonai are still alive, deep underground, it would allow a chance for an ages-old promise to finally be fulfilled. Midna promised Link she’d see him again one day, after all. The Hero’s Spirit is alive and well in the Hero of the Wild...
How could Midna be alive though? The answer is quite simple: She never returned the power that Zelda lent to her. Given that the Triforce is still complete in BotW, that power clearly wasn’t the Triforce of Wisdom. I believe it was instead the Light Force that was granted to the Hero of Men and then to Zelda by the Picori, the font from which (life) Force flows. With such a powerful relic, Midna’s spirit may have become eternal, constantly reincarnated like Hylia’s bloodline, the Hero’s Spirit, and Demise’s hatred.
That's actually an interesting theory. It made sense for Midna to survive in the world of light if she possessed the triforce of wisdom, however Zelda transfered her soul which housed the triforce and the light force. When midna returned zelda her soul, midna could still survive in the light, despote the fact zelda now obtained the triforce. However if Midna retained the light force, it would explain how she didn't die without the triforce.
Whoa!
@@ZeldaLore and the life force in alchemy is needed to create the triforce, or a philosophers stone if i did my research right.
@@BioAlpha5 I think you’re right🤔In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Hermione flat out tell Harrykins that the Sorcerer’s Stone can make one immortal. In the Slayers anime, a Philosopher Stone seems to increase a sorcerer’s life force, so that even a third-rate sorcerer could destroy an entire kingdom.🤔

If the Interlopers, ancient tribe and Zonais are the same tribe, I still don't understand the relationship they have with the sheikahs (and gerudos, bcus in Twilight Princess the Arbiters Ground has hylian, gerudo and Twili characteristics and structures inside)
As stated in the video, the zonai could have been descendants of the Sheikah from before Skyward Sword, defectors of the tribe, like the Yiga.
The reason Arbiters Grounds has gerudo writting is because it wad built by the gerudo. The hylian writting came after the Hylians comitted a mass genocide of the Gerudo after Link warned Zelda of Ganondorf, turning the arbiters grounds into a prisson. The twili symbols could be from the zonai too, perhaps it was they who built the arbiters grounds or they lived in it for a time. We really don't know. Good point!
@@ZeldaLore i might not nessacerily think that the Interlopers, ancient tribe and Zonais are the same tribe but i do think they have some relation to each other and the sheikah somehow or the other
wasn't in skyward sword another place called "arbiters ground"?
@@BlaxeFrost-X eh no that I remember
@@ZeldaLore I'm not sure if I'd say that the Interlopers were solely Sheikah (although they were definitely a major player): these traces of Gerudo iconography can be seen in Zant's attire - which featured the symbol before he met Ganondorf. I think the point of Lanaryu using Dark Links, Link, and Ilia for its exposition on the Interlopers was to illustrate that. Doesn't detract from the main gist of your theory, though.
Holy cow dude, I've been binging Zelda lore and theories for a while now and this was one of the best researched and presented videos I've seen yet. Bravo and keep it up! Subscribed.
That really means a lot, thank you! Glad you liked it!
Hm, another detail regarding the eye on the back of the Fused Shadow-a remarkably similar design can be found in Ikana Graveyard, though this one also resembles the Majora/Fused Shadow front eyes as well. Another eye-like design is prominently featured in Ikana's secret shrine, focusing on a circle with three scrawled lines, for what that's worth. (It appears on the entrance to Stone Tower as well.)
Woah! The evidence for this is pretty believable. I've seen other videos about the Zonai but your claim that you know is a great way to show confidence- and I can see why because you bring in a lot of evidence over quite a few games.
Spot on. Zonai = pre banished Twili. The new trailer makes it even more clear.
Two princesses, two snakes. The symbol of cycle and rebirth, the snakes eating their own tails. Seven tears, Seven Sages.
They will no doubt have connection to the tears of SS and TP.
The two princesses have their hands in the symbol of the snakes. Or zonai dragons.
Who is the second princess? Of twili? Of Zonai? Or is that one and the same?
BanditGames’ theory is that the other “princess” is the goddess Hylia, which I think is very possible
Perhaps there have been these two opposing clans of Zonai at one point,
similar to the Sheikah and Yiga? One practiced light magic and went extinct,
the other practiced shadow magic and got eventually banished.
It's surely part of my headcanon now. XD
While this theory was cool at the time, Totk very much disproves it. I no longer think the Zonai and Twili are related at all.
For being such a new channel, you've got a really nice production quality with your work already. The video was constantly keeping me engaged. Looking forward to seeing this channel grow!
Thank you so much! Glad you like them! I try to make them as enjoyable and informative as possible, so it really means a lot that you like them! I'll post videos every week!
I like this theory! I feel like the Zonai are BOTW’s name for the Ancient Tribe or “Interlopers” that were sealed away into the twilight realm. Meaning that Midna is a descendant of the Zonai!
even after totk, i feel like this is still possible? we don’t know how or what tribes spawned after the teachings of the last zonai. although rauru and mineru were the last PURE zonai, they for sure had children and descendants to continue the royal line. We already know the sheikah tribe likely have a significant relationship to the Zonai’s teacihings (probably), so it’s not impossible that another darker tribe, like the interlopers, could’ve spawned from their teachings too.
Holy cow! This is one of the most well supported theories that I have seen out on this topic! Good job man!
First of all, you deserve more views and likes. Fantastic use of editing when comparing the symbols for the sheikah, highlighting all the symbols on the interlopers' architecture, and the mask comparisons. Keep up the good work
Thank you!
This is... brilliant: I'd heard this theory before; but the way you tied bits and pieces of lore and evidence to back it up in ways I hadn't considered in the past is awe-inspiring.
There might be one hole with the Zonai ruins dating back to the Era of Chaos, though: if the Zonai were involved with Ganondorf's seal, then they must have left the Twilight Realm and migrated to the Light Realm as the Twili because otherwise they wouldn't have been around when Ganondorf first became a thing. Not a major hole, though: that Mirror of Twilight-like relic you highlighted might have once been the portal the Twili resurfaced from and possibly used to return to their original realm afterwards.
Excellent video! Almost everything here seems either on point or completely plausible-I had never noticed the similarity between Zonai architecture and the Twili, that all but confirms that they are at least related.
However, I do disagree that the Ancients from MM are the same. Majora's Mask originated in Termina, as is evidenced by carvings in Stone Tower. As such, the Ancients likely were in Termina as well. Given that Termina contains numerous parallels to Hyrule, it is more likely that the Ancients are just Termina's version of the Zonai/Interloper/Sheikah/etc. Additionally, the Secret Shrine in Ikana contains numerous heart-shaped masks all about. The Ancients being a dimensional parallel to the Zonai/Interloper/Sheikah/etc. would explain why Majora's Mask and the Fused Shadow have very similar and very different design elements and attributes.
Aside from that, like I said, great work!
Thank you! Glad you liked my content!
Majora's mask originated in Hyrule. Termina was a dream world created by the Mask's entity itself. Termina wasnt real. When Link left Termina, Termina ceased to exist. It is explained in Hyrule Encyclopedia.
When Skull Kid steals the mask from the Happy Mask Salesman, it feeds on his loneliness and sadness, and creates a world based off of his memories in Hyrule. The mask was created in Hyrule. Everything in Termina is a reflection of Hyrule through the eyes of the Skull kid , twisted by the evil of Majora.
You should do the Fierce deity Link video
I think, we shouldn´t throw all ancient people of hyrule in one pod. But i agree, they where probably connected. I think all this would better fit the theory, that the whole zelda timeline starts not after the hylia-statue is brought back to the earth, but after the bossfight of Skyward Sword in the Past. In this time, the Shiekah of ancient would still have been strong.
I mainly pointed out the connections between these misterious ancient tribes. It's curious how we only see ruins of the zonai and not more ruins of more ancient people or tribes, which is why I linked them all together into one. If the ancient tribe that created Majora's Mask. The Interlopers, and the zonai are in fact different, wouldn't we see their ruins too?
Holy cow that was a wild ride! I can see why this is the most popular video on the channel. Well deserved!
the amount of facts you brought the table is incredible! Great work.
To put in perspective the Yiga follow the triforce of power, the Shiekah the triforce of wisdom, and the Zonai the triforce of courage. The rule of 3. Now the question is how is link connected?
I kept hearing stuff about how twilight princess and botw 2 will be connected, but I always thought “oh that’s dumb they would do that” and then the video wouldn’t have any solid evidence. This video was different. Every point you made to connect things had proof in other games, even skyward sword which was just an exposition dump for the Zelda franchise. Really well made, I’m subbing
Hey thank you so much for positing this. I have literally been saying this and thinking about it since the beginning!
It could have been possible that when the Zonai civilization collapsed, after a cataclysm, they continued their stone building but with less skill over time. That's why it's so advanced in TOTK but the old ruins in both BOTW and TOTK are very basic.
Absolutely best video ive seen so far on the Zonai!! great job ive been trying to tell people this forever
Thank you!
Woah woah woah, you just sokved one of the biggest mysteries of botw. How are you ever underrated you deserve way way way more subs. You are AMAZING. realy you just earned yourself a sub.
I believe the Zonai were a tri-force-worshiping civilisation, composed of three sects, each focusing on a single one of the three virtues. Ganondorf posed as a god of power, leading to a schism when he took control of the barbarian power-worshipers. This ultimately led the other two sect to part also, with the courage-worshipers ascending above the cloud-barrier with the dragons they worshiped; and the wisdom-worshipers eventually becoming the Sheikah.
That was really cool how you put everything together and it all fits
I'm 'surprized I only just found this! A lot of the other videos are really long but you keep yours short and to the point. You deserve more subscribers that you have.
Just stumbling upon this now, I've now watched a ton of videos about the zonai and their mysteries. This is by far the best and in my opinion most accurate description of who they probably are. No wild leaps of faith to conclusions, just drawing simple parallels between similar themes. Can't wait to find out how this all plays out
Thanks! I honestly can't wait to find out who they truly are, and see if how right or wrong I was in this theory! XD
This video predicts the depths quite well. I think there is a connection between the three layers of the new game and the three pieces of the triforce. Good video!
I have thinking about this very idea for months! I am so glad I found your video! so much information I hadn't even thought about
Visiting from 3 years in the future. You nailed it! And you've earned a new subscriber. Just wish I'd seen this all those years ago.
Watching this after the Tears of the Kingdom, it still works. The symbols on the carving in that look like a variation on the Sheikah eye and Zonai swirl.
Guys, I feel like all those theories about the zonais are the same as the pre botw sheikah theories, they just took the role of the secret mysterious magic people.
Its the same thing over again and I have a feeling that the more popular they become, the bigger the chances of Nintendo straight up putting a zonai town with a bunch of normal zonai dudes like the sheikah in botw.
First time finding one of your videos and as I step through the portal. I'm hit with a massive theory tethering together 4 ancient tribes/races! It's beautiful 😍 and hard to argue or disprove with the connections pointed out. Instant subscription.

Also!!! to add more... the concept art for midna in the art book shares similiarities with the barbarian armor, the braids and blocky hair on top plus the skull and tribal patterns is really similar O.O
great video with so much great links! grandiose editing. you speak just a bit too fast sometimes but i could still follow. the connection between the twilight mask and majoras mask blew me away. so awesome! i hope we will hear about the zonai in the sequel to botw

Glad you like my videos! Feel free to add subtitles to my videos! I'm spanish myself, but making videos take time, so I'd be very grateful if you added subtitles!
Also thank you for sharing my videos with your community! It means a lot!
I think you hit the nail on the head with this. I’ve been watching lots of theory videos and had lots of thoughts about who they are swirling around, and this ties most of them all together perfectly. I still feel like the Gerudo might tie into it all somehow too, but I’m not sure how.
Glad you like it! I agree, the gerudo are tied to them in some way, but I doubt it. We know the arbiters grounds, once the spirit temple from ocarina of time, was a Gerudo temple built to worship the Goddess of sands. This temple however was transformed into a Gerudo execution ground controlled by the Hyrule Royal Family after Ganondorf tried to conquer Hyrule, after Link told Zelda and the king of what Ganondorf was going to do, which led to his failed execution and imprisonment in the twilight realm.
The interlopers were vanished ages ago by use of the mirror of twilight, but we dont know if the Gerudo even existed back then, which would mean the mirror was located somewhere else at that time. The mirror could have been moved there long after, but why would they do that?
The Gerudo could have been exiled to the twilight realm too and also turned into twili. In fact, maybe all who go into the twilight realm turn into twili, regardless of their race. This actually is hinted in twilight princess, when Barns mentions how a single shadow monster attacked the Kakariko bar keeper, and when they went to check on her, there were two monsters and she was nowhere to be found.
The twili could be sheikah, zonai, gerudo, humans and possibly more races, all transformed into twili.
Wow, this comment made me expand this theory lol I may have to do a part 2 at some point
I came out with this theory last year, I didn't knew someone make a video about this and I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS VIDEO!!!! IT'S REALLY GOOD!!! most people don't look the design, details and their similarities between these tribes, it's really interesting and makes a lot of sense, I HOPE that this is true, because I want to know more about the twili and it curious that they bring most of the core races of the games for botw (Zora, Goron, Sheikah, Gerudo, Korok [kokiri], Rito and Hylians) I hope that in the sequel we get to see other races like the Minish and Twili!
I've been looking for this theory as it's something that popped into my head while watching Zonai theory videos!!
I've been knocking around a theory like this in my head for quite some time, and I've watched several theory videos that touch on various parts of it, but yours is the first one I've come across that hits it on the head. You've got a lot of what others have said on the subject in here, but you've also got several things they don't, and it can all be verified with what we know of canon. I hadn't thought to make the connection between the darkness around the Thyphlo Ruins and the fused shadow, and I hadn't noticed the serpent designs in among the spirals in the Palace of Twilight either. I've always been fascinated with the Sheikah since their first mention, and most everything that seems to be connected to them, I tend to find just as fascinating even before the topic starts floating around among theorists. Speaking of fascinating things, do you have an opinion or theory on the luminous stones and their possible connection to the Ocarina of Time, the timeshift stones, the Master Sword, or even Link's earrings? I'd heard somewhere that those blue earrings are a thing given to Sheikah boys upon reaching their manhood but I don't think this is canon. Speaking of dead spirits in rocks and other creepy-fascinating things like redeads, redead-like monks and the Sheikahs' bloody history, do you have an opinion/theory on whether or not the Sheikah shadow magic is a type of necromancy? I'm going to toddle off and poke around your channel, I think.
AND EVEN MORE!! The fused shadow or Midna's helmet in BOTW has protection against ancient technology, which solidifies her connection to the sheikah and the ancient times o.o
Mind, blown. Keep it up and thank you for this.
I’ve been thinking about this!!!! Thank you for this video!
Lovin this cant wait to see more content keep up the great work
Thank you! Glad you like my content!
I've always just seen it as that the Sheikah always wipe out rivaling communities and tribes, as they have a "dark and bloody history" with Hyrule. They are assassins first and engineers second, and as such would destroy any threat to Hyrule before they could even start.
Now that totk has come and see the depths is the land above but inverted, like from a mirror, this matches how the Yuga clan is the Sheikah symbol upside down.
Awesome vid can not wait to see more (keep being awesome)
I thought about this theory this morning and came across your video tonight and am fLOORED!! So much more than I expected. I'm super excited for BoTW 2, because hopefully now we'll be able to tie these loose ends, and learn more about twilight princess. Love your videos bro!
Thank you so much!
“It is as though it is slowly falling with time” that was an absolutely beautiful way to phrase that analysis.
I've had a sense that the Twilight is somehow connected to Tears of the Kingdom ever since the first trailer! This video makes me believe it even more. Please do a part 3 if possible! Any chance that "Tears" of the kingdom has a connection to Midna's tears of light at the end of Twilight Princess?! All these connections can't be coincidence!
Very well thought out theory. Just subscribed.
Me he quedado flipando. Estaba desesperada intentando encontrar el eslabón que uniese a los Twili, Majora, los Sheikah y los Zonai, y este vídeo lo ha explicado a la perfección. Mis felicitaciones, te has ganado una suscriptora.
Se llama "The origin of the Twili". Es una continuación de esta teoría.
I had thought of this before, not nearly as well mapped out though. Awesome video 👍
I love this theory! It's so well connected and obvious once you put the pieces together. It always fascinated me how a game that takes place at the beginning of the Zelda timeline already had so much history in places like the desert and being able to connect that now is amazing
Plus I'd do anything to see Midna or anything about the Twili again
Glad you liked it! This is my favourite theory that I've done to date xD I remember discovering more and more things and having my mind blown each time, it was so much fan creating this video
Great theory! U deserve more Subscribers and views! I also have a few points to make. When comparing the maps of Twilight princess and Breath of the wild, the zonai ruins and Ordon village kind of match up in location, so maybe the ordon villagers evolved into the zonai. They could of spotted farosh flying over faron and begun worshiping him as a god. Pretty far fetched, but there is more. On the tapestry in Impa's house we see that the Link from 10,000 years ago has red hair. Maybe he was wearing Barbarian armor. This could be because he descended from the hero of twilight, who's people were the ancestors of the zonai tribe. It would also explain why the zonai armor fits Link perfectly. Also(sorry if this is long) the description of the barbarian helm states that wearing it draws out your inner animal, which could connect to wolf Link in some way. Your theory has much more evidence supporting it though so I doubt it.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! Liking and sharing the video helps!
@Zelda Lore, I also finally pieced together the puzzle about the Zonai and Interlopers/Twili being the same race. Someone else directed me to your video here based on the same Theory but you honestly took that point and built on it greatly! Awesome attention to detail and correlation of pattern and lore. I agree with the comments below that you placed great care in this video and my hat is off to you! Wonderful job!
Thank you so much! I am so glad many people are liking this video. Its was a lot of fun to research and make, and its awesome to see it payed off!
@@ZeldaLore Maybe I can give you a new video idea. I've mentioned this on other channels and boards, but I don't think anyone else has really touched on it. There is one set of characters that has always thrown me off in the Zelda series. The two Gerudo witches Koutake and Koume. We are never given an actual back story to them. Where did they come from? With the exception of Ganondorf and Lady Urboso (channeling the Thunder Helm ability doesn't count for Riju...I'm talking supernatural self-producing magical ability), we don't really see any other Gerudo exhibit magical powers.
Do you think Twinrova are actual Gerudo or demons? We see them in every timeline but Adult since Link defeats them in the Spirit Temple, but they are alive and well through the Child Timeline and they do their best to bring back Ganon in the Downfall Timeline before they sacrifice themselves in a botched resurrection attempt.
We see their counterparts in Termina.
They're 400 years old when we see them for the first time in OoT, and they secretly lead the Gerudo and are the surrogate mother(s) of Ganondorf. That last part is interesting if you consider surrogacy as more than just "mothering" someone in the absence of parents. Perhaps they took on Demise's curse/ incarnation to birth Ganondorf. That would make Twinrova the mother of the Antichrist in the Zelda multiverse and Demise effectively the devil. That puts Hylia as then a Christ-like figure who lowered herself from her deity role (a kenosis) to do more to redeem and protect her people.
I almost feel like we could potentially relate Twinrova as a Hecate figure who may have been the bride of Demise. Why would they be so loyal and dedicated?
Something to consider.... How long passed between Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time?
@@archmdc370 between Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time there are tens of thousands of years, so its virtually impossible for Twinrova to be related to demise in any way. Demise died after Skyward Swordz and his spirit decayed within the Master Sword.
Ganondorf was born from his curse from an unknown Gerudo woman, who may hsve died in childbirth, leading to Twinrova to take care of him and raise him, as well as train him to use magic. Koume and Kotake are just powerful Gerudo witches, who are simply evil in nature. Whether they were evil before Ganondorf or became evil due to his influence (being their king and ordering them to do evil deeds), is up to debate, but they are clearly evil by choice in ocarina.
@@ZeldaLore I didn't know some of that. You definitely know your Lore :)
I made a playlist called "Zelda Theory Favorites" because of this video. Well done!
Killer video and great info! Keep it up! Also you may want to turn the background music down just a bit as it does drown out your voice a bit. Other than that amazing work!
Excited to learn more about this in ToTK!!
Also I don't know if anyone has ever read the Majora's mask manga before but there's a short story at the end about the origin of Majora's mask, Majora was a dragon that was stuck in a timezone where no time passed, a lone traveler came and the dragon threatened to eat him like the other men who had found it looking for it's armored hide that was rumored to grant wishes, but he was lonely so the traveler played the dragon music and he danced, he was so happy and began to feel empty having been in a timeless zone for so long, wishing to be normal he died, and the traveller took his hide and carved a mask from it that could grant people's wishes, the traveller looked exactly like Fierce Deity Link without the face paint. So if the manga is canon (I'll check and see if it is) then Majora's mask grants wishes, Skull Kid was suffering from the loss of his friends, he wanted them back, he was bitter and angry and when he wore the mask it allowed him to get his friends back because they came to stop the moon, Link made it happen but maybe the mask willed him to be found by skull kid who was seemingly randomly wandering around the woods and happened to find Link despite no one else being around and his home being termina not the woods.
So I did check and they're not considered canon and they're adaptations of the games but it still makes a hell of a lot of sense
I love this theory and u just gained a subscriber 👌
Thank you! Glad you liked it!!
Wow, I am genuinely impressed. You managed to connect the Zonai to the Interlopers, the symbols throughout the series, and also managed to connect Majora's Mask (the actual mask) to the mask Midna wore in Twilight Princess. Color me baffled!
Interlopers is what i thought but i never noticed all the spirals in the architecture in twilight princess. Great spot man!
Hmmm I've heard the theory that Majora's Mask and the Fused Shadow are connected before, that the Fused Shadow may be a modification of Majora's Mask, that they may just be different expressions of the same item in different timelines and art styles, but I've never heard the idea that Majora's Mask may be a kind of first draft to the more controlled 2.0 of the Fused Shadow. That's a good one.
Hey for a channel with only a couple hundred subscribers I'm surprised at how well produced this video is. Good job!
Thank you!
I'm losing my mind dude! This is amazing!!!!
I have a theory what if the Zonai are actually a tribe of Demi-gods that descended from the heavens with a purpose of keeping Ganon sealed but Ganon somehow corrupted them
Great content!! Keep this up sir, I’ll watch every video!!

The spiral with the point also appears on Korok block puzzles
True! Those blocks could be of Zonai Origin, and the Koroks just use them to hide.
A reasonable hypothesis!
Instant subscribe! I've been thinking for a while that the Interlopers were a faction of the sheikah and indeed they designed the Majora's Mask, but all the stuff about the Zonai and the origin before Skyward Sword... WOW!! Really awesome!!
You should see the discoveries And connections we've made in regards to the Zonai in the past 2 years. The Twili, Oocca and Gerudo share symbology in Twilight Princess alone, and they all have ties to Faron Woods, with architecture in the forest temple being identical to the Palace of Twilight, as well as enemies only found in the Forest Temple of Faron Woods appearing in the City in the Sky. And symbols only seen on the city in the sky are also found in Lanayru Desert. That's just scratching the surface.
@@ZeldaLore Amazing!! I will definitely watch those videos!! So many key points there!!! THANK YOU!!
One of my favorite theories I've ever heard.
I honestly love your theories. There’s so much evidence to support them unlike other theorists.
First of all, how you don't have that many views? this theory is amazing.
Second, the connection between majora's and the Interlopers is the weakest part of this theory it has it's evidence but it's clearly the least amount of it, although I would say that it will be completely possible and super cool.
I was doing some investigation myself on the gerudo desert in arbiter's ground and there I found that the entrance to the actual dungeon was still there, covered with sand but still there and a good way to connect Hyrule and termina will be via the twilight realm.
I mean, if anyone were to create the mask, it would be them xD they are more than capable of doing so.
Thanks for watching!
This needs more views idc if it’s 3 years old. I’m just seeing this and OH MY GOD!!!!
Wow , this theory is amazing , you need so much more subscribers , but with this good content they will come
Thank you so much!!
I was playing with a similar theory in my head earlier today but when you tied in Majora's mask my head exploded
I was just thinking of this today, as if you look at the box art for Twilight princess, some of the twili designs mirror the zonai, especially the dragon head motif, similar to the motif found on Ganondorf within many games in recent years.
Best zonai video I’ve seen
Nice video! I also think Garini's translation of the glowing tablet (in a language we've never seen that he can read instantly) is interesting, "When the two find their place and kneel in reverence, the shrine will reveal itself." Maybe it's not significant and is phrased differently in Japanese, but the wording "THE two" stuck out to me when it could have been just "When two find their place." The shrine opens when Garini, a possible Zonai descendant, and Link, a Hylian, kneel "in reverence." Could just be the designers trying to throw you off and have fun making a mystery, but if you take the writing to mean two specific people, maybe two specific races, it could say something about the history. It also implies that the Zonai writing was contemporary with the building of Sheikah structures 10,000 years ago since it directly tells you how to reveal the shrine. (Before I thought that the Zonai were gone before the Sheikah built their shrines and just used their ruins as sites, but this implies that they may have lived at the same time.) I'm assuming the Sheikah, Zonai and Hylians have long had conflicts and in-fighting like the civil wars, but maybe this site is an example of the three cultures coming together for the future of Hyrule. The Zonai could have been feared for their warlike society and powerful, dark magic but at least some seemed to care about stopping someone like Ganon from gaining ultimate power and possibly sacrificed themselves, if we assume that glowing hand belonged to a Zonai.
Coming back now after the trailer for TotK, which seems to strongly strongly corroborate this theory
Good job man.
Best theory I’ve ever heard and what I really hope is happening for botw dos
Good job, dude. Also, love your accent :)
Very plausible theory dude I like it
I completely agree dude. As soon as the Zonai became present back then I referred it to midnas mask and zanto. I hope we will see connections in totk
I think the Zonai could be the Kokiri but advanced over the centuries from tree stump like wood buildings into stone monuments. That could be why we never see them after Ocarina Of Time.
The kokiri evolved into the koroks.
Zelda Lore oh yeah I forgot about that.
