If I ever get on staff, it will be from them coming to me first. I no longer go out of my way to try to get staffed because, if people can get staffed merely because they’re friends with those in the corporations, or just by being a celebratory bowler’s child, then I see where those allegiances lie. They have to earn my interest. In the meantime, I’ll just continue throwing whatever I want.
*This is my take on this from what i've seen before watching the vid here* The moment i read the title from the my homepage i was like... "uh be annoying and spam hella posts and reviews to gain some audience, attract attention and just be out there until they notice you and your social media audience size until companies use you as a free promoter" lmao. Or be like Luis napples and copy other people's content and repost them as his own and eventually made it haha. He was supposed to special guest with a Storm staffer girl for one of the tournaments in vegas i was at but he no showed. I was like, uhhh huh of course lol
So, it's interesting. I'm not on any bowling staff, but I was on a skate staff before. It's really about moving products, and you do that by either being so good that people just have to buy what you use, having a large presence, and/or networking. Then there are some guys who made staff by glad-handling the companies and being good at being status-seeking social climbers.
If we’re talking about work, visibility, and consistency? We’re def talking about The Hype! Always putting in work.
