Ok this has to be the coolest theme I've ever seen!! 🤩 That shirt is amazing!! This entire box is a wow!! I just love everything.. the stuffie, the legos, the puzzle, the memory game! So much fun for an older boy! 🐺🚀🪐
Ahhhh… the shirt! Love it! I’m so glad you got it and used it! It’s perfect! I knew that was Nicole’s ball before you even said it! Her signature balls! Those are so cool! Great fabric for his backpack and awesome Lego set. There’s a lot of WOW in this box! That’s one of my favorite adult coloring books. The jewelry is so perfectly selected. I think he will love those! I think I have the same bracelet to pack! This is a really fun and special box and he will be so blessed to receive it! He will be howling with delight! 🐺Great job Trish! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Aww, thanks, Denise. I’m so glad I got that shirt too. When I brought it home a lightbulb went off and my sort of ordinary wolf box turned into an extraordinary and fun Space Wolf box 😉.
Wow! This box is so nice! Love the shirt! Also the drawstring bag you made is so cool! I love doing 10 to 14 boy boxes! I am real excited cause this year I have 2 hammock boxes for 2 of my 10 to 14 boys!
Fun and unique theme Trish! It must be the year of the wolves, Diana and I are working on a wolf collab -she already finished her shoebox. But glad to see this too! I love how the shirt brought out the theme. Love the graphic on it and the wolf plush. The harmonica is always a favorite. Adorable puzzle. Great backpack and lego set. Fun shoebox, Trish! Thanks for sharing! 🐺🌚
Thanks, Sharon. Oh, can’t wait to see your and Diana’s wolf collab!! I always look forward to both of your shoebox unboxings. Both of you pack such thoughtful shoeboxes. A wolf theme should be awesome! 👍
Fantastic box, Trish! Watching while I sit and scrapbook at a weekend retreat. Love the shirt and the Lego set. Now,that’s a wow. I love the balls Nicole gave us. I am still packing those spinners. I got them years ago at a great price. I am so happy I still have some left. They are fun, and it’s easy to make them fit in even the boxes stuffed to the brim. 😊
Thanks, Val. I like the spinners for the same reason… guaranteed fun, so easy to pack. I’m so glad you parted with a few to give me 😁. Enjoy your weekend at the scrapbooking retreat. 🥰
Great 🐺🚀🌙 shoebox! He will love it. I heard back from one of my shoebox recipients from Ecuador...he is 8 and received one of my 10-14 boxes. I thought that was interesting. He looked very happy so I am sure it everything was fine. 😊 Thanks for sharing ☺️
Yes that happens sometimes. I heard back from the parent of an 8-year-old boy who received one of my 2-4 boxes. Fortunately, he had a little brother to whom he could give most of the contents of the box. I think the only thing he got out of it were the school supplies. I guess that’s why it’s so important to pack school supplies, even in the 2-4 boxes. I also heard from the mother of a 4-year-old boy who received one of my Minnie mouse boxes meant for a 2-4 girl. Although he seemed happy enough with his Minnie mouse stuffy and Minnie ears headband complete with a pink bow, I felt bad, because it also had girls clothes in it 😕.
Absoutely Pawsome Box ❤❤ I love the Wolf Stuffy but probably the handmade draw string back pack will be my favorite. The handmade stuff just makes these boxes extra special and personal ❤❤
I agree about the handmade stuff making the boxes extra special and personal. I forgot to mention that I found the fabric on clearance at Walmart last year, 2 fat quarters for $.25 each. So it only cost me $.50 to make the drawstring backpack, as I already had the drawstring 👍👍
I really enjoy packing boxes for boys 10-14. I think that legos kit is fantastic-he will love it. Everything in the box looks great. It makes me want to pack more boy boxes-I’ve done 9 already, but maybe one more, and one more!
Typically, when someone asks me what age group is my favorite to pack, my natural response is 2-4. They are just so easy to put together, always adorable and that age group is so easy to please. However, 10-14 boys boxes are definitely the most gratifying to pack. Yeah, what’s one more? Go ahead, pack another 😆
Star Wars fan for the rescue! blue socks have AT-AT walkers, and black socks have the Death Star with the Empire symble and Lightsabers :) (I wish I could get those, I love Star Wars!) This box is super awesome 🐺🌙🪐
Thank you for showing what you packed in your box for boys 10-14! I watched a video of the packing of the shoe boxes by Samaritan's purse volunteers in the collection center. I learned a couple of things. I used to use the plastic shoe boxes however I found out that using the boxes provided by Samaritan's purse are better (or something equivalent with exact size) as these boxes fit perfectly in the shipping boxes. My plastic box had a slightly different dimensions so would have been more difficult to pack and fewer boxes being placed in the shipping box. It is also very important not to over stuff the boxes for the same reason. Anyway thanks so much for taking part in this wonderful program.
Nice box Trish! The shirt is very cool and tying space into the theme was very unique. I love the jewelry!! Great idea to roll up the backpack and put it in the puzzle box. The socks are a hit too! TFS!
#64, they are my favorite. They are a fraction of the price of the #107, fit great around a box and work perfectly well. Also, they won’t injure your wrist like the #107 can. I buy them on Amazon. They are non-latex, by Alliance. They are currently $4.92 for a 1 pound box (approximately 380 rubber bands). Both the rubber bands and box are orange.
Hi Jerrietta. Samaritans Purse asks that we pack in an “average-sized” shoebox, and they leave that up to interpretation. That said, they accept any size box for Operation Christmas Child. I will say, this is a very controversial subject and it is not up to me nor anyone else to tell you what size box you can or cannot send. I can only tell you what I do. You likely know, I am a big proponent for recycling regular, average-sized shoeboxes for my OCC gifts. Average to me means within reason and I use the OCC standard 7x12” cardboard and 7.5x13” plastic shoebox dimensions as my guide. Since I use regular shoeboxes, I strive to keep my boxes between 7”-8” wide and 11-13” long. I will say, though, on occasion I use boxes up to 9” wide and once or twice, 14” long, but it’s not my norm and those are my oversized boxes. As a matter of fact, I have one packed this year that is 14” long, however it is only 6.5“ wide and I have two that are 8.5”x12”. Keep in mind, a 12 quart sterile plastic box measures almost 12” wide and 17” long. That is a big box! In my opinion, that size box is no longer a shoebox. What I do when I have more than will fit in an “average-sized” shoebox, is split up the contents into two boxes or donate the oversized item elsewhere. However, if is on your heart to pack a 12 quart box, OCC will not turn it away 😊

Wow, thanks Kayla! I’m hoping the young man who receives it feels the same. I love how it turned out, too. 🥰

Yay! Me too! I have 2 “Great Outdoors” boxes with hammocks for 10-14 boys. Outdoors boxes are my favorite to pack for 10-14 boys. 🥰

Amazing how much you can fit into a shoebox. This box is full of so many great things I know a boy will love
I guess practice makes perfect 😉. Thanks, Deborah. I think so, too.
You are a master at boxing OCC boxes. Another great box and perfect for some special boy.
Thanks so much, Rochelle. 🥰
A complete and total WOW box!

Haha, thank you, Kristi. This one came to me at the last minute, after I found that shirt 😄
Such a unique theme. Love this one!
Thanks, Morgan. It’s very guyish, I think. Hope he likes it.
Great box for an older boy. He will love his gift. Wolves are so cool and what boy doesn't like space? 😃
Thanks for helping me pack this one, my friend 😘

Thanks, Judy. It was originally just a wolf box, but when it turned into Space Wolf it became a so much more fun to pack 😁. TFW 🥰
Wow! Awesome shoebox!
Thanks, Elena 🥰

I knew someone would know what was on those Star Wars socks! I should have known it would have been you 🤣 Thanks Math!

This is such a great older box box. Love the fun theme and that boomerang is a neat idea.
Thanks AnnaBeth. I thought the boomerang was pretty cool, too. 🥰
Nice box Trish! The shirt is very cool and tying space into the theme was very unique. I love the jewelry!! Great idea to roll up the backpack and put it in the puzzle box. The socks are a hit too! TFS!
Thanks, Jeannie. I agree. I loved the idea of combining space with the wolf. So glad I found that shirt! 🥰

Such a fun box. ❤
Thanks for watching, Charlotte 🥰
Hell love it❤❤❤
Great box!! Noticed your rubber bands were not #107. Which ones did you use?

Trish I wanted to ask if I can use a 12 quart plastic box from Walmart? I can't fit my things in a 6 quart box, thank you ❤❤
