That was done to compensate for the fact it is very easy to fall off, and the extremely low damage tolerance of the bikes, taking more damage per hit, and less hits to damage out.

I always hated bike racing in MCLA. My dad played the game before I did and he managed to fill all Pinkslip slots with Kawasaki Ninjas because he kept losing... and I just kept losing control on bikes, so I stuck to my Murci.

Cars vs Motorcycle
The reason for why the motorcycles have faster acceleration and can turn sharper at higher speeds:
1: Compensates for the fact they take time to get used to and master their handling for users who mostly use cars.
2: Their lighter weight makes them extremely risky to use as crashing at high speeds will easily knock the rider off the bike, and takes more damage faster.
3: After being off the bike, it takes longer to recover from a crash, but is compensated for the higher acceleration.

Nope it reminds me of Bati Custom from GTA 4 DLC: TLAD. Because GTA IV had that bike before this game. And this game was made way before GTA V came out.
