Sakineh appears to be depressed and chooses isolation and grabbing on to her baby to soothe her own feelings. Notice she has no friends and prefers to live as isolated from everyone as possible
She grabs on to Rachel as form of therapy for herself but is keeping Rachel from personal development as a result.
She did the same with Roya till Roya “ran away” to some form of freedom from living in that one room cell of a home.

Why did you not wash off the black tar like ointment after you received proper medication from doctor? Did you (finally) take her to see doctor because viewers like myself are concerned about infections and scarring? Did you want us to think you cared? Didn't want anymore negative comments about your lack of care and treatment? Rachel looks miserable having that goop smeared on her face, ear and scalp (whining and crying more than usual and that is a lot). You also have a cold again and coughing all over Rachel and everyone else. That's all Rachel needs is another cold and earache to go along with her burns.. I wonder if they changed cameramen. They show less of Roya's sneaky behavior and less of the mother either ignoring or putting her children in dangerous situations.
I have watched many other videos and YES there are deplorable situations children are exposed to, but I HAVE seen them taught to stay away from the heating stove or pushed back from a fire. I have NEVER seen one allowed to get into hot food on the stove or fire. I have NEVER seen a 3 year old left to care for an infant for long periods of time. NEVER seen one throw a fit several times a day. I have quit watching those that show any form of violence. So many children exposed to violence. May God have mercy on them.
Sakineh please help Karim's parents to live with you because Karim doesn't care about them, poor them. By living with your house it won't be lonely after all, soon you will give birth.
