Make sure to go and find the nut that is supposed to be on the end of the regulator. Just received their kegerator kit and there was no nut at the end of the regulator so I have to try and find one somewhere.
what position should the regulator vale be in BEFORE the CO2 gas knob is set to the open position? Is the regulator knob turned fully clock-wise, is that the closed position?
KC HL-62 gas leaking out the back of the valve when tank valve barely opened. Only way to stop any leaking from back is to turn off at tank. Help please.
can you provide some guidance on what to look for on the gauges? since I hooked mine up, I have the right gauge consistently at 10psi, but the left gauge (which I think measures what's left in the tank?) is just sitting there all the way to the left, in the red.
The C02 bottle that you are drawing from has liquid at the bottom and gas in the head-space, the high pressure gauge reads the pressure in that head-space, it should be constant until you are almost out of CO2. If you are leaving the bottle in the fridge, like I do, it can always read in the red around 400 PSI, once it starts to fall you need to get a fill. Altitude and bottle temperature dictate the high pressure reading and I have seen readings from 400-800 PSI which I believe to be normal.
You bring up a good point Al, but that washer is actually a backup. The regulator shown includes an integrated nylon tank connection washer that is attached to the end of the stem and prevents CO2 leaks. The backup is provided in case the integrated washer wears out.
Wow, amazing that the instructions say to open the downflow gas valve before securing it to the tap. Skip a step?

You left out the most important part. THE WASHER. What kind and how it goes in.
shows how to hook up the co2 outlet hose with 7 different clamps that anyone can do but omits THE WASHER. I agree with your post
What a detailed explanation,I sell beer regulator, but this video has helped me a lot, sincere thanks

After some time around huage has iceing tell me how to proper remove iceing.
Can you leave it on until the keg runs out or you have to turn it on and off to conserve the CO2?
The other side of the blue hose is connected to anything?
Should the valve be perpendicular or parallel to keep valve open? And, should it always remain open or only opened up when using kegerator?
Parallel is open. If your system is leak free, leaving it open is fine.

Anthony Boghosian thanks
@@anthonyboghosian8500 THIS post is why the internet exists! Thx!
remember to install the white washer that is zip tied to the inlet, otherwise you'll loose all your CO2

Thanks for this exchange. I was wondering what to do with the washer zip tied to my regulator.
Well at least you got your spare washer. I just purchased a kegator with everything and I didnt get a spare.
