  • I saw I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME at Wonderfront festival in San Diego! The band had recently played in my city at the Music Box just two weeks earlier.
While they had initially been scheduled to play two sets during the day, unfortunately this was changed shortly before the festival to just one.
The band came on about six minutes late due to issues with the crew setup. They opened as they typically do for non-headliners with Nobody Likes the Opening Band! Another crew issue was apparent in Dallon's picks not being ready but they finished the song after a little delay!
They transitioned into the first track off Razzmatazz, Leave Me Alone. Dallon's bass volume had to be turned up for that iconic bass line in Do It All the Time. Things seemed mostly settled for the rest of the set after some final fixes with his bass. Social Climb followed, another off the 1981 EP.
While the setlist listed six songs off the latest album, GLOOM DIVISION, they only had time for four. They started this trip through the album with the first track, DOWNSIDE. GLOOMTOWN BRATS followed, with another wonderful bassline. SIXFT and SPKOTHDVL rounded out the run, with the band only having time for two more songs.
They followed with a setlist staple, New Invention and ended with their biggest track, Choke!

They were so good live! Sad that they had so many technical issues.

theyre a great band. really is a shame they had all the tech. issues at that shows...although watching dallon angrily yell "fuck" at 5:17 when he realized his bass was in fact not turned up like he had just asked seconds before was pretty funny. literally the first time ive ever seen the guy curse lol

This comment made me laugh! He felt the same way we did after seeing the crew struggle to get it together
