We took the final versions of the Kita out to the Azores to put it through its paces on some steep pocket water. To say we were impressed with how it everything came together is an understatement. This rod is amazing and it has a really great pricepoint for a Japanese made rod.

So pumped. Just pledged for a 330 today and I can’t wait to get some little guys here in San Antonio! My Sierra needs a sibling!
Nice! That will be a fun one!
Awesome as always fellas! Now I need one, diggin the 330cm. Good job on color choices as well👌 Tight lines from Utah!

Thanks for checking it out! Ya we are really loving the colors. Super simple but the texture on these rods is really cool so we wanted that still to show through.
Looking forward to fishing my 380!
We really love the 380 for those wide open spots it feels amazing. lighter than a lot of rods smaller than it so it doesn't feel like 380 but still is precise I think you will really like it.
Nice! I've been hemming and hawing about getting a Tenkara rod. Got some great rivers and streams in Michigan I'd love to fish with one!
Have heard some great things about some of the rivers up that way, good luck!
@@tenkararodco that's what I hear and want to check out! I'm near the Clinton River which is a popular steelhead run!
Backing! Going for that 330cm 😁
Both of the rods feel so similar so if you have a little bit tighter, brushier fishing spots the 330 is so good.
@@tenkararodco Yes the thickets of Laurel and rhododendron here can be incredibly difficult to fish with longer rods! The 330 kita will be a perfect partner to my Yari 😁
How would you compare these to the Sierra rod ? I just bought my Sierra a couple days ago for some smaller rivers in the Sierras haha
Nice cane poles
haha thanks jimbo
I am thinking about buying a Tenkara rod but am confused on which one to buy. I want to catch Bluegills and Crappies on open lakes while also catching 8 inch Brook Trout in small ponds. Which rod would be the best for me?
Hey Brock! Thanks for reaching out. Sounds like the Kita 380 would be a good rod for you. The Sawtooth or Teton Zoom would also work great. Sounds like fishing open lakes and ponds you will have a lot of casting room so i would do a longer rod as long as the action on it is relatively soft. Hope that helps!

Anyone has one for sale at decent price? Thank you ...
Can you catch and land a "proper sized" fish, with this rod? Say a large trout/Bass or Salmon? Only used traditional fly rods, so I wonder about whats possible, fish size was with a Tenkara rod, like the Kita/380.
We have caught trout in the 20-22 inch range on this rod. Normally when we fish for salmon in Alaska or other big fish we use the Rocky rod because its just a lot easier. I think the Kita 380 could handle bigger fish though. And if it did break at least it has a warranty haha.
Bought your Kita 380 and Yari, so I'll be finding out for myself, what they can do. Thanks for the reply.@@tenkararodco
