I had visit visa interview recently.. Its almost similar to urs except study thing. Jus a small answer that worked out is 'want to see my family' for a very normal question, y do u want to go to the USA? (Mom n relatives lives there) Nothing else. Since i stay abroad n had my interview in abroad, i was expecting him to ask multiple questions n documents i got them handy. Interviewer asked me same 5 repetitive questions in multi ways. My answers are same, n i wasn't having any tension for what if i don't get visa... my next guy is very anxious. I didn't get exited when interviewer asked me to give biometrics. Such a simple thing, thought I prepared for much documentation n funds, interviewer didn't bother to see them, except passport, 1 photo n DS160 front page. I enjoyed the process. Well organised n well behaved persons n cleanliness, respect that they gave for each individual.
I couldn't hear his voice, so asked him many times to repeat his questions, he didn't bother to repeat questions again.
