sameee, im actually a big fan of itzy and i really loved wannabe era, i almost stay all night to stream the music vid, but i honestly like boca more, not hating itzy(i freaking loved them) maybe because i personally like rock genre?
No offence but I actually Liked Boca more than Not Shy honestly I am a More of a ITZY stan than Dreamcather but Boca was something else so Dreamcather deserve their first win.
I love both groups but I can't just sit here and lie to myself. BOCA is a superior song in many ways. Not Shy is pretty good but I think I still prefer Wannabe.
All their title tracks would have been able to win every award, but since they have a rather smal fanbase, and many of us also being non koreans, makes it a bit hard
Yeah, but they growing tho in korea. A lot of Koreans said that deukae's fanbase is growing in Korea, plus there are lots of Korean comments in the MV. (This makes me proud, being an international fan myself)
The fact that many people stan popularity and trend over pure talent is so sad. You can call it opinion but I call it a fact: I discovered Dreamcatcher not long ago but they are way way better than many "big" girl groups. And I love that they are one of the few artists who don't follow the trend but stick to their own thing. Trophy or not, they're the best for me.

What I had expected of Blackpink back when I was introduced to them, I found it in Dreamcatcher. The swag, the strong female presence, the bold outfits and music.... Plus as a WEEB their songs sounds like an anime OST so a major plus point. It's sucks they don't get recognised enough for their absolute talent.
Honestly...i only notice evolving of each Dreamcatcher comeback..they keep coming back with new mixture of instrumental and genres.. So far no others girl groups are better than them..not even those HUGE girl group. I can't see any reason until today they not yet deserve a position in KPOP music...one first place in a music show!
The reason why Dreamcatcher & Red Velvet are my two favourite groups ever. The only 2 groups who not afraid to show their versatility & experimental sounds. But damn this comeback is masterpiece.
But why do i feel yhe reactions are ingenuine.... These guys were reached out by dreamcatcher's company so thats why the carpool interview happened . They didn't go out of their way to do the same and hence they will have to act accordingly. They've only reacted to chase me and goodnight mvs , other than that i cant completely believe they're into dc . And hence this reaction video happened.

Individually, Itzy's songs are pretty distinct, but the reason why people are finding Itzy's sound repetitive is because of the concept. Their producer has been pretty experimental with their releases, but it's been pretty disjointed by combining different musical ideas and such. Not Shy is by far their producer's most cohesive composition but it's melodically experimental and abstract which might not appeal to the majority.
