Glad to see this comparison as i have a stihl fs70 and am buying the makita 188v x2. I would say your line is too long on the 18v makita, seemed okay on the 18v x2 but thats the main reason i always keep my guards on, to keep the line the correct length.
Good video. You might comment about the vast price difference between electric and gas (petrol). In the U.S., the Stihl Kombi electric system with enough batteries for unlimited run time (i.e., charging as you use them), costs approximately 10 times as much as the petrol system.
thx. I thing battery systems are not there yet for gardening business and petrol is a must. At the same time I'm so happy with dux60 as I have a lot of small gardens to maintenance and this tool is really good enough. I don't want to comment prices as I'm not dealer just user. There is growing competition so that's good for the prices
Hello, very informative video, thank you. How many batteries you take with Makita DUX60 when you work? I suppose I need at least 4 batteries, to swipe 2 when other 2 are dead, because I plan to do ir commercialy
Thx for your comment. I have more then 4 as I have different tools as well. But if you have this as secound trimmer as additional to petrol the 2 is enough for a start. They will last for a bit. Especially if you work on lower setting. No need to work with full power most of case

@hilliard665 thx for comment. I mainly use for weeding on slabs or patio so for me longer works better. It's not for hard work
Great Review mate :) thank you
My pleasure! Thx for comment
