🛣️ About the Highway Patrol Expansion 🛣️
For a long time, the highway connecting Brighton and the State of Franklin was closed due to a major traffic accident, and required extensive construction work. The Mayor of Brighton is now happy to announce that the grand reopening has been held. The Brighton Police Department and its officers are now able to patrol the highway with exciting new assignments, new challenging tasks and responsibilities, and even new tools, such as the spike strip and roadblock requests to stop fleeing carjackers.
Now that the highway is reopened, there is an increased risk of auto thefts, bigger accidents involving cargo trucks, fires, and scattered cargo. Your daily duties will be extended to include monitoring speeders, providing assistance to stranded drivers, and checking cargo trucks for illegal items. At the end of the day, you need to promote safety on the highway. The highway expansion will also feature the new Interstate Police Vehicle and the Endurance Police Vehicle, which allow players to patrol the highway in style.

Become a patrol officer and serve the citizens of Brighton!
In Police Simulator: Patrol Officers players slip into the role of one of 8 playable characters and start their first shift as a rookie patrol officer in the fictional US East Coast city of Brighton. As they learn the ropes of their law enforcement occupation they will graduate from enforcing simple traffic rules or preventing littering, to investigating minor and major accidents, and searching and arresting wanted suspects in cases of theft, bodily harm, property damage or even drug dealing. With growing experience, they will not only unlock three different police cars and more complex tasks but also three lively city districts consisting of fifteen diverse neighborhoods. A two-player coop multiplayer mode gives virtual officers the opportunity to serve the public as a team together with a friend, while an open patrol mode offers them unrestricted access to the whole city.

As part of the Brighton Police department, the newly minted officers are not only responsible for upholding the law when it comes to the behavior of the general public. It is just as important that they follow the rules themselves and set an example for others. This means that they should carefully consider their actions when it comes to stopping, questioning, searching or even arresting citizens. Unlawful behavior by the officers will result in the loss of conduct points, which can in turn lead to the sudden end of their shift or even their termination from Brighton PD. - Ігри

Thank you for creating a great game in such a niche market. Anybody that complains about bugs/glitches should look for another police simulator or better yet create their own. You guys are doing a great job and I'll continue to support as well as other loyal fans.

Fix the wheels, and put another button to able and dissable calls, when i click it always turn on my blinkers

Turn it off when outside the car or disable it from the pause menu.
Can't wait to try out this new update! One thing I would really like to see is realistic control over sirens. Most emergency vehicles control the sirens by tapping the horn. It is a bit irritating having to hold the horn for different tones
I'm glad we are getting Highway Patrol/State Trooper uniforms as part of the Highway Expansion.
I think everyone gets the uniforms for the highway expansion otherwise it would be unfair

I love this game so much, it’s so much fun cause you never know what crime happens next. People forget this isn’t a triple A game from a big studio like Activision or ea. Yes it has a few bugs but they don’t bother me. The developers are doing a great job and i’m happy that they add new content. Can’t wait for 18. june - keep up the great work guys I really appreciate it

A huge fan of police simulator happy to play and enjoy every bit of this game that you guys have created and I’m sure the community appreciates it immensely for the expansion pack and the bug fixes I’ve put in my own 271 hours when I found out that the expansion release was up for pre-order. I already got my pre-order in. Can’t wait for the release shift live stream maybe at some point would like and hope to see a multiplayer for the desks inside the presents can accommodate officers more than just to enjoy with friends thank you very much

There won't be. This game is called "patrol officers". Not "Undercover officers".

what i would also love to see is a menu/Option to reduce the time for the free roam shift, and i dont know how big the highway is gonna be, but i would also love to see to go from city to highway in a like 3-5 minute drive
There is no need for a timer for free roam, that's why it's called free roam. Just sit at the desk when you're ready to end your shift.

I got a question are they going to be a quick with the surveillance equipment like on that surveillance patrol car that we have? I think all the cars should be able to do that and what about calling in for back up just in general to help out with the pursuit.

Do you also have freedom to just run radar and check for speeding if you dont want to deal with accidents or breakdowns?
I wish we could run the radar from a stationary position, tryna use the radar out of the car and then quickly hop in and try and catch up to the drivers is virtually impossible.. I never run the radar gun because of this and pacing cars isn’t great because they often slow right down as soon as your close enough to get a proper speed on the vehicle.
@808Goose I know right that's how it should be done. When I play lspdfr that's how I like to do it with the radar gun
I am having the problem with my steam account where I paid the money for the pack but it isn't showing up in the game how would I fix this?

Also - little tweaks to NPC reactions. For example an NPC that has been run over should not be saying 'I didn't see anything because I wasn't looking'!

Guess they choose that date so they have time to fix a lot of bugs. Personally i dont noticed game changing bugs on ps5. But i heared on pc there are a lot of bugs.

Agree. At the same time I got really bored riding in the city. Every game has bugs. Dlc is not expensive for the effort they put out and new calls. Without this new update I never play this game. It boring. So😮

There’s no crime scene call-outs anymore just major/ minor accidents, find the wanted person, hope they change this so it doesn’t get boring.

Hey guys! Wanted to see if maybe it was possible to add in a bunch or at least some new siren tones on consoles? (PS5 Xbox etc)Would just be cool to add in the variety of them I think to make things a little more customizable. Can’t wait for the update!

Right it’s ridiculous this game is broken garbage. Not to mention the police vehicles have absolutely no handling or stability. You aren’t going to be able to chase a vehicle on the highway at high speeds without these police vehicles rolling over the SUVs are horrible you can’t even make a turn without them rolling over. How are you going to perform a pit maneuverer in these vehicles they sustain a large amount of damage just hitting another vehicle because the vehicles are so uncontrollable. The large suv is so clunky and unstable and the small suv and the smart car and the small sedan are lightweight and lose control.

I do hope the driving physics get updated as well, because I am not sure the ones in the game currently will do so well at highway speeds. Especially not in a police chase.
