Are we getting an Adventures of Sonic the hedgehog episode? YES!
So this game might be the most nostalgic thing in the world for me. Technically my first Sonic game was Sonic 2, however I was too young to really remember much about it, the Sonic game that I really grew up with was Sonic adventure. I have played hours upon hours of this game, I have replayed it more times than I care to recall, and I have a love of the game that, even despite the parts usually criticized, is as strong as when I first picked up the game back in like... 2003 or something. This is the model I look to for Sonic games, this and SA2. This is what Sonic should be to me.
Also, you ever consider bringing on other actors to do voices for the... cardboard characters? I'm just thinking it might sound a little better with other people's voices in there, as opposed to talking to yourself. I dunno', just a thought.

The games' lack of commitment and consistency is what has the fans divided and reviewed mix. How can developers improve on the formula if the formula keeps changing.

I remember playing this in Toys R Us in a demo setup. I picked Big the Cat, wondering what the new character would bring, and promptly left the game after 30 seconds of not being able to control him properly.
My cousin and me were playing the final level of the big the cat world, and he got froggy in two seconds.

Sonic has always stayed to the same core idea(WITH THE ACCEPTION of spin-offs). Speed and platforming being around his gameplay. The reason to why Mario had such an easier time to translate into 3d was because they only had to turn a 2D square into a 3D cube. With Sonic they had to translate a fast paced ridget like design into 3D which was very hard at the time and far more complex and complicated.

I like how low-poly Eggman is in the HD version. Especially in the Egg Viper fight, when he opens up the thing and his arms just flail and do whatever. But it seems he's only in the Egg Viper cutscene and fight.
