They had a LOT to say behind my back and I was so confused. I just came back to share the baby and go to college, no time for the weird background noise. Folklore when my relationship was falling apart after two kids in two years, evermore when it came back together, 1989 Tv and Speak Now Tv when I made amends with my past and found maturity in my nostalgia, and Midnight when I felt like a woman and a mother finally, confident and full of love instead of a terrified girl pretending to be a mom and wife. Hey guys, love ya vids. Just wanted to add on some info regarding last vid about how it was related to the whole Kim & Kanye saga, it's not just about how they manipulated the illegal recording to make it seem like Taylor agrees to the "I made that B**** famous" (she did not, it was heavily edited) but Kanye also added a naked wax figure of Taylor in that 'Famous' music vid (like some sort sick revenge p***). Taylor was heavily criticised & shunned during the whole snake gate saga, #TaylorSwiftisOver was trending all over Twitter. It's not just the feud with Scooter selling her masters, but the artists who were associated with him also rally behind him & undermines her work as an artist. If you guys really wanna delved into the Lore try listening to her songs in Folklore album & then Evermore (They're sisters album) but those 2 really shows her brilliance in song writing & story telling. She did have some minor roles in movies like The Giver, New Girl, Cats The Musical, Amsterdam, CSI, Valentine's Day, and voiced as Audrey in The Lorax.
The best revenge is coming back stronger, bigger, better than ever. People tried to squash her and she just threw them off and collected grammies along the way.
Taylor is involved in all aspects of her career. The songs are written by her mostly and a few co writers. The videos and concerts are from her seeing it in her head of the way she wants it to be. She also writes and directs a lot of her videos. Regarding the reputation era her motto was “There will be explanation, just reputation”. Love your guys reactions. Glad you found our goddess!!! She is so multi - dimensional!!!! I’m a 60 year old Swifty that has followed her entire career.
The more we get to know Taylor and her story the more impressive she becomes. She’s a fighter, survivor, and now she gets to thrive in the space she wasn’t afraid to create. She stands in a league of her own. Thanks for sharing what you did!
She was in a movie called Valentine's Day. And had a great character on an episode of CSI. The media always wanted to label her "bad" for how relationships ended and things like that....so she just leaned into the narrative. Large portion of this album was a petty, savage FU to the media and other people that had wronged her. When I'm upset or angry....this is my favorite album of hers! Watch "Miss Americana"
That might be my favourite live performance out of all of them. Top 3 for sure. It's got so many different parts, the whole witch burning at the stake part, the choreography, the energy, the vocals... Need I go on? You guys gave it the proper appreciation it deserves.🖤💚
Based on what I’ve learned during my Swift deep dive over the past year, the “vision” for any of her eras comes from her. Meaning, she’s involved in everything from start to finish: “era” aesthetics, album production, album artwork, the concepts for videos and concerts, the look and feel of those videos and concerts, etc. That being said, of course she has A LOT of help executing all of those things, and she has the budget to get the best of the best. IMO this is another area where some folks who don’t understand the “hype” around Swift might not be aware of the extent of her artistry. I’ve read some articles that have started to describe Swift as an “auteur” as opposed to simply a pop “artist”. And I think I agree. She conceives and then actively directs her body of work as a whole. Since she made the full switch to pop, she’s inhabited every era and the “character” she creates for herself within it. (Sometimes to the point that you wonder if it can be difficult for her to maintain a stable sense of self.) Regarding her acting abilities… I know I might get tackled for this one but my personal sense is that she’s an excellent “emoter” but can struggle a bit with “acting” (which is more nuanced). She’s great at expressing emotions via her face, body language and vocals in concerts and music videos. But, when you add spoken dialogue and the need for a more subtle performance, she struggles a bit. For anyone who might be getting upset with me here, I don’t mean this as a take-down. No human being can be good at everything and, all-in-all, she’s got more than enough talent for ten people. 😉
She’s heavily involved in the production. In fact, she is heavily involved with all aspects of her music (writes all of her own songs), videos and tours.
@@EbonyandIvory1213 She is a brilliant director. Forget about her acting (she has done some small parts); her directing is going to blow the socks off everyone. She is multitalented. But really, her writing (both lyrics and music) are going to be legendary. Like much bigger than even now. I watched a Harvard professor explain how the lyrics to her songs draw on poetic traditions going back thousands of years. One song demonstrates she has read Wordsworth and inserted him into the lyric of the song. She has also said if she had to choose another profession it would be teaching English.
Her theater experience is from her performances. If you check her earliest concerts you will see she always put on a show with stories… she has acted small parts here and there but her sketches on SNL are sooo funny…. Recently Ramy Youssef said she can hang in comedy bcs she has excellent timing. She directs her video for the past few years and she might direct movies in the future… In a toxic culture a woman being herself is considered bad…. Especially a nice blonde country girl…. And Tay Tay is like NOPE 😈
Taylor started in Nashville and became awarded all kinds of awards, She originally lived in PA, Her parents and brothers Austin lived on a Christmas 🎄 farm.
She was in a movie called Valentines Day. I’m a bad Swiftie and never watched it because it’s not my movie genre. 😂 She has big role in her production but has also used producers who do Broadway shows. Very theatrical!
I have never believed she is being literal in this song regarding doing something bad that feels good. Rather, consistent with the theme of the entire Reputation era which is a response to false allegations, I have always interpreted these lyrics to mean exactly what they say “they said I did something bad” and then calling into question that judgment by essentially saying if it was as bad as you said why does it feel good. That being said she has been outspoken on also loving to play into double meanings and she clearly wrote this song in a playful way too, I think to convey the feeling of doing something bad that feels good. I think she is also playing off the “reputation” that she is doing exactly that… indulging in the “bad” as if it is good. I think the multiple meanings of her lyrics are what make them so strong allowing everyone to experience them consistent with their own perspectives and experiences. I think all are valid interpretations, but I personally lean toward the you said it was bad, but the way I feel evidences it wasn’t bad at all.
I appreciate your perspective. Always good to see it from a different angle….challenges your beliefs. Thanks for shaking things up a little…in a good way 😁
I love her live tour performances but my all time favorite performances are from the City of Lover Concert in Paris. Specifically, Cornelia Street, Death By A Thousand Cuts, and Daylight from that concert are some of her best vocal performances in her entire career. They’re stripped down, just Taylor, her guitar/piano and her voice taking center stage. Highly recommend
I would watch the lyric video for Marjorie it has videos and photos of her and you’ll hear her grandma vocals in the song and at the end it will say backing vocals: Marjorie Finlay. In the song when she sings I’d think you were singing to me now. You’ll hear her grandma vocals and towards the end of the song you’ll hear grandma vocals again
I absolutely LOVE your reactions of Taylor's videos! I'm too old to be a "Swiftie" (I think😂) But I have really enjoyed Taylor since her very 1st song Tim McGraw. HOWEVER the Reputation Album & live performances blew me away !So full of Sass &Confidence . She's such a Bad ASS !! Very impressive that it's all her vision & talent.

Taylor's live performances are fantastic and they should be your top priority, but also be sure to check out some of her music videos. @@EbonyandIvory1213 She wrote, directed, produced, sung -- all of it. Also, watch which is another short film masquerading as a music video. Scott Eastwood is her costar. I have a lot to say about it. A lot. I've seen some huge misrepresentations about what is going on in that production. It honors her grandmother (who was an opera singer) and her grandmother's era. Taylor plays an Elizabeth Taylor like star acting in a 50s film set in Africa. It also visually echoes the film with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. Taylor obviously reads a lot (I have to laugh out loud when I come across the slander that she doesn't read books!!) and studies popular culture. She knows what she is doing when she references James Dean daydream eyes in . James Dean obviously starred against Elizabeth Taylor in "Giant." I am a baby, but , Swiftie. I have a lot to learn, but a lot of stuff is just to someone with my training. There is a reason there are multiple college courses about Taylor popping up everywhere from Harvard to Stanford. Some are even comparing her to Shakespeare
She's phenomenal guys!! She writes every song on her albums. She's such a beautiful human being. She has an awesome team and they all love and respect each other. Pennsylvania 💜 She grew up on a Christmas Tree farm… for real 😎 Add “Dress” to the play list. I like watching you two blush 🤣 Great reaction, as usual 😎✌️
Calvin did worse. Taylors vocals can be heard in the background of “This is what you came for” with Rihanna. The bad part is after she wrote this song for him secretly to not take the attention from him. he then did an interview and he was asked if he would ever work with his girlfriend Taylor and he said no he couldn’t see them working together. He attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. All the while she gave him a song that won him an award.

What you see in love performances or videos is Taylor’s vision. She doesn’t have a stable of writers. She has a couple of people that she works with and a good team to help her bring it all together. She just paid 100k to every single one of them down to her dancers & truck drivers to the tune of $50 million to make sure they are taken care of. & the tour she is on is grossing in the billions. Those numbers are real.
I really recommend the EAS (something like that? EVS maybe? it's a little logo at the top corner you'll see it, it has many views as well) videos of her performances on UA-cam, they're remastered so you can hear her live vocals best any they edit the best footage from the shows in. it's very great, I adore the one of her singing "I don't wanna live forever" without Zayn (who personally I think ruins the song...). I also love her 1989s tour rock version for "we are never ever getting back together" though I think you gotta get to know the original version first. loved the video, you guys are awesome. (and as always I just gotta mention, not too hard on the eyes as well 👀)
Cats is not universally hated cause I love it lol but it was the movie she's in not the Broadway. Most people who hate the movie probably would hate the play because of its inherent weirdness but that's to each their own (I love both ❤)
I LOVE your T Swift reactions. My only critique would be the fact that the music is muted and lacks the power of the original recording. Is there a way that you could fix that for us please 🙏. Can’t wait for your next reaction ❤️

It’s not that she did something bad and it felt good. It’s that “they say” she did something bad. But to her, it felt good. So it couldn’t have been bad. People say what _she_ did is bad, because they’re burning all the witches, even if you aren’t one
"Does she have part to do with it?" Oh, I love this part, before someone realizes that she has EVERYTHING to do with all of it. This woman is a performance artist.

Another good song to react to of hers is Look What You Made Me Do. It’s another song from the reputation album. Definitely react to the music video first because it has a lot of hidden meanings/messages in it addressing Kim and Kanye, court case she was in and other media rumors.

It’s such a testament to how far she has really come ❤ That being said, I only watch 2 of these types of channels regularly but will definitely be adding you guys into the rotation 😊 I enjoy your genuine opinions and how down to earth you both are 😊
That means a lot to us. We appreciate you and your kind words 🙏🏾
You have to watch Taylor on SNL sing False God. Superb! Kinda jazzy.
We did and did a video on it 😁🫣
She’s involved in everything. Writing, producing, directing. She really is the whole package.
Also, a lot of her stuff is taking the media’s representation of her and either owning it or mocking it.
She's from Pennsylvania
Yes, she's been in a film
Many of her music videos are more like mini movies - BIG budget productions
Do you know what film she is in? Yes, her videos are mini movies. They are AN EXPERIENCE
She was also in an episode of New Girl
@@EbonyandIvory1213she’s been in the CATS musical film
She’s had small parts in Valentines Day & The Giver
She doesn’t consider herself an actor (she says she just shows up in a movie for 5 minutes sometimes)
She's also in the musical cats and wrote a new song for the movie called beautiful ghosts that's amazing ❤
@@EbonyandIvory1213Amsterdam
Thank you for sharing. Very informative. And appreciate the love 😁
Her music videos are liked mini movies and show her acting talent.
Incredible
The best revenge is coming back stronger, bigger, better than ever. People tried to squash her and she just threw them off and collected grammies along the way.
Speaking truth yessss! 💪
Excited to see her in those clips. Yeah, she gives this energy in this song so we can imagine how the whole album is like. Thanks for sharing!
Oh shit you guys got it up! I was just uploading the watermarked one I did rn haha it’s just taking forever ahhhh
We did ittttt 😂 Thabjsj Jamie!
She's in The Giver and Valentines Day, as well as Cats , The Lorax and Amsterdam
She’s not a newbie in that space it seems :)
That might be my favourite live performance out of all of them. Top 3 for sure. It's got so many different parts, the whole witch burning at the stake part, the choreography, the energy, the vocals... Need I go on?
You guys gave it the proper appreciation it deserves.🖤💚
She’s basically IT for you lol Thank you!!
(Sometimes to the point that you wonder if it can be difficult for her to maintain a stable sense of self.)
Regarding her acting abilities… I know I might get tackled for this one but my personal sense is that she’s an excellent “emoter” but can struggle a bit with “acting” (which is more nuanced).
Well said. We appreciate your opinion and sharing what you did. At the end of the day we aren’t perfect and are only human, and that’s good enough 🙌
She’s heavily involved in the production. In fact, she is heavily involved with all aspects of her music (writes all of her own songs), videos and tours.
She does it all! She’s directed her videos that are like short films. Dive in please!
She’s also directed?! Wow…divingggg!!
Thanks for sharing!
Love that about her
Taylor started in Nashville and became awarded all kinds of awards, She originally lived in PA, Her parents and brothers Austin lived on a Christmas 🎄 farm.
How fun must that have been to grow up on a Christmas tree farm!
I’m 57 a ‘Swifty’ in training , I’m obsessed with her .
How can you not be after really listening to her lyrics and knowing her background 🫶
She was in a movie called Valentines Day. I’m a bad Swiftie and never watched it because it’s not my movie genre. 😂 She has big role in her production but has also used producers who do Broadway shows. Very theatrical!
We may give that movie a go. And yes agreed, she is very theatrical which is a big part of being a great performer
Great reaction! I love that y’all always share your snack choice of the day 😂
We do too lol We are big foodies 😋😂
Thanks for shaking things up a little…in a good way 😁
I do know she has been in one of the CSI episode...... CSI: Crime Scene Investigation--'Turn, Turn, Turn' (season 9, episode 16)
Thank you for that info!
Thanks so much for the recs! These are great!
She has always been interested in musical theater. There are some good behind the scenes and the the making os songs you could react to
Oh great idea! Thank you!
She did community theater a bit as a kid I’ve heard. :) I 100% want this woman to make a musical someday, she completely has it in her.
Agreed! Sign us up!
We already know we will love it! Thanks for sharing that and introducing us to this. Can’t wait to watch!
We’re never too old to be Swifties! At least that’s what we were told 😁 The more we get into her and her life the more impressive she becomes!
@EbonyandIvory1213 Good to know because at 53 I'm all in now 😁🫶Looking forward to her Eras Tour Concert Film ..Taylor's Version on Disney !
You’re never too old to be a Swiftie
You have to see All too Well the 10 min version! She directed it herself!!
We’ve heard great things about that one. Thanks for the rec!
TS takes in all her concerts and I think is close with her dancers and team . TS does it all and deserves the highest respect of any artist nobody can ever be her or be like her. ❤❤🙂
Agreed. She is in a league of her own!
Taylor's live performances are fantastic and they should be your top priority, but also be sure to check out some of her music videos. If you don't mind doing double-reactions, I'd suggest doing both live and music video versions, when you can.
Here, for example, is the MV version of a song you reacted to earlier:
Ready For It? (music video)
ua-cam.com/video/wIft-t-MQuE/v-deo.html
And here is a chance to do a double reaction, if you are willing:

Look What You Made Me Do (official music video)
ua-cam.com/video/3tmd-ClpJxA/v-deo.html

It's my favorite live song of hers cuz she's such a badass!! Love your reactions!
She's from PA and grew up on a Christmas tree farm!! ❤️
Thank you! On a Christmas tree farm?! Wow, what an interesting upbringing. Thanks for that share
@@EbonyandIvory1213she wrote a Christmas song called Christmas Tree Farm
It’s cute

I am loving watching your Taylor journey. Your reactions are 🔥 Can't wait for the next one!
Thanks so much! Next one coming soon! 😁
She has history with lots of ppl you could casually term narcissists. Kanye & Kim. John Mayer. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun.
That’s a list!
I have watched a couple of your reactions now and really like them! I would love to see you guys react to No Body, No Crime! There is a lyric video on UA-cam. Although for that one I would recommend NOT looking up what it is about until after you have watched it through the first time :)
Ok deal! Thank you! And thanks for your recs!
Please watch All Too Well the short film, she produced it all and it’s so detailed.
We will thank you!
Her band has been with her from the beginning and her back up singers as well I think two of them have been with her ten. You will like her other songs too.
Absolutely loved the, “she’s coming for (insert name)” 😂 😂
Hahah yes felt very personal! 🥰
She was in a movie called Valentines Day with a bunch of other huge stars. She was so cute in it!!
Pennsylvania 💜 She grew up on a Christmas Tree farm… for real 😎 Add “Dress” to the play list. I like watching you two blush 🤣 Great reaction, as usual 😎✌️
yes!!!
Adding it thank you and thank youu ☺️
Her biggest role to date outside of the Eras Tour that you guys need to check out and see her acting chops is “Amsterdam” 😏😏😏 iykyk lol
Wildest Dreams is a dope MV that comes across as a film that you should for sure check out btw
Thanks! Will check both out!
She was in Cats and The Giver
Now we want to see it 😁
The song she wrote for Scott Borchetta about Scooter Braun is called Ricochet
Calvin did worse. Taylors vocals can be heard in the background of “This is what you came for” with Rihanna. The bad part is after she wrote this song for him secretly to not take the attention from him. he then did an interview and he was asked if he would ever work with his girlfriend Taylor and he said no he couldn’t see them working together. He attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. All the while she gave him a song that won him an award.
So sad 😞 it seems like she’s been through a lot however she seems she has allowed what she went through to make her stronger and better
Taylor is amazing! I could watch her every day. She makes me happy! 💙🏈🎶
Yay, definitely one of my favorites!! Such a powerful performance!
Extremely powerful on so many levels!
She does the produce her own production company
Wow! 😮
The key to the line is YOU say I did something bad, she isn't saying that she did
Ahhhh got it! Thanks!
From Pennsylvania, that's how her family was Eagles fans, and knew Andy Reid,
Makes SENSE!
I am so very impressed with the depth of the background knowledge you do before your reactions. You really are trying to learn all you can to gain the full experience of the song, and that can rarely be said about reaction channels so I just want to sincerely thank you.
We are really trying. Thanks a lot for noticing and acknowledging that. Really means a lot to us 🫶
@@EbonyandIvory1213 I have been coming across SO many reaction channels that have begun reacting to Taylor since her exploded fame in the last year, and this is the first channel I have actually learned things from watching reaction videos. Please don't ever change.
@@MizukiLovesDraco wow, that means A LOT to us. More than you know. We will not change and keep doing our homework ☺️ Thanks again expressing that to us!

I feel like “False God” SNL performance is a great option for a future reaction 😁
I don’t think you’re ready for All Too Well 10 min version, but when you are I BEG of you to do the lyric video BEFORE the short film version. Yes, you need to react to both. And that is the order. I PROMISE it matters!!
Anyway, keep the TS reactions coming, they are fantastic and I look forward to them!

Such a powerful album
You guys were SO GOOD AT THIS! Heck yes!! I love watching reactions when people understand what she’s talking about. She doesn’t put extra words into her music, so every word, sound and movement is quite intentional!! Loved this so much!!
Thank you so much for sharing that! We are fairly new into the history of T.S. We are doing our best to do our homework before and trying to underhand the best we can about her. Much appreciated 😊
Love to know she takes care of her people. Says a lot about who she is as a person
Thanks for sharing that
I really recommend the EAS (something like that? EVS maybe? it's a little logo at the top corner you'll see it, it has many views as well) videos of her performances on UA-cam, they're remastered so you can hear her live vocals best any they edit the best footage from the shows in. it's very great, I adore the one of her singing "I don't wanna live forever" without Zayn (who personally I think ruins the song...). I also love her 1989s tour rock version for "we are never ever getting back together" though I think you gotta get to know the original version first.
loved the video, you guys are awesome. (and as always I just gotta mention, not too hard on the eyes as well 👀)
Thanks for that info! Very detailed. We appreciate you…and thanks for the compliment ☺️
She'd be amazing on Broadway!
I just saw you guys for the first time yesterday. I love watching ou. Hello from Canada.
Thank you so much! Hello! 🇨🇦 😁
She takes part in everything
When she was dating Taylor Lautner they were both in a movie called Valentine’s Day (she was hilarious) not sure if she has other movies in the works.
That would be a good movie to watch! Yes, one also mentioned she was in an episode of CSI I believe, amongst others
From Pennsylvania…she was also in the broadway show Cats!!
No she wasn’t. She had a very small part in the Cats movie which is universally hated lol
Cats is not universally hated cause I love it lol but it was the movie she's in not the Broadway.
Most people who hate the movie probably would hate the play because of its inherent weirdness but that's to each their own (I love both ❤)
Pennsylvania it is 😁
If you want to see her acting skills, check out her music videos. She writes, directs and acts in most of them. She is incredible!
I LOVE your T Swift reactions. My only critique would be the fact that the music is muted and lacks the power of the original recording. Is there a way that you could fix that for us please 🙏. Can’t wait for your next reaction ❤️
Thanks so much! Yes we are working on making them better! Learning as we go 😁 Thanks for your recommendation and watching!
Just came across your channel and watching this at 1 AM from India.
Have been binge watching your videos and loving them. You guys are amazing! 🤍🤍✨✨
Hey to you!!! 🇮🇳 Thanks so much for watching 🙏☺️
You mentioned Michael Jackson...I saw him TWICE in concert and it was mind-blowing!!!!!! His music will live forever!!!! Can you image, if he were still here.....a collaboration with Taylor and Michael? All that creative talent? My gosh!!!!! I don’t even know if any of us could handle it!!!!! He is, and always will be, my #1 !!!!!!!!!
Wow! Twice?! What incredible experiences those concerts must have been! Imagine him and Taylor? They’d have to make that opening day a national holiday. The whole world would stop.

@@purrsandwhispers4521 hahaha totally! 😂
And the part that goes da da da da da is actually her voice. Find the video of her first writing the lyrics to this song. It's great and they mixed it up with music. She's a true badass.
Ahhh yessss! She continually blows us away the more we dive deep into her history
I just started watching your channel love how genuine you seem to be. And Love Taylor! These videos of her live performances get me pumped up ha. You should also check out Halsey! She has my favorite song of all time.
Thanks for your feedback and rec! Halsey is a good one for us to explore also!
She if course has choreographers, her latest is Mandy Moore.
Oh she got the best of the best!
But of course! It’s Taylor!
It’s not that she did something bad and it felt good. It’s that “they say” she did something bad. But to her, it felt good. So it couldn’t have been bad. People say what _she_ did is bad, because they’re burning all the witches, even if you aren’t one
Ahhhhh! Jamie for the rescue! Thank you for clearing that up 😁
"Does she have part to do with it?" Oh, I love this part, before someone realizes that she has EVERYTHING to do with all of it. This woman is a performance artist.
She sure is! The more we do a deep dive the more impressive she becomes!
She’s really good on SNL
Oh yes she is! We saw it 😁
Pennsylvania, then moved to Tennessee.
Thank you for clarifying that for us 😁
love this song. I'd love to see you guys react to "My Tears Ricochet" From the Long Pond Studio Sessions. It's about the betrayal of Scott Borchetta. Very deep.
Thanks! Great rec. it’s on the cue 😁
She’s talking about all women when she says “they’re burning all the witches even if you aren’t one!” This is anthem for us women with what has happened in the last 2 years with the overturning of Roe! Light me up!🔥🔥🔥
Not just Roe. We are all called “witches” if we have opinions or are powerful with some men!
Also, great reaction!! Loved it!
She sis so fire!! And thank you! 🙏🏾 😊
Another good song to react to of hers is Look What You Made Me Do. It’s another song from the reputation album. Definitely react to the music video first because it has a lot of hidden meanings/messages in it addressing Kim and Kanye, court case she was in and other media rumors.
Will do! Thanks Madison!
The best revenge is living well. And looking good while doing it! 😂. I also think that her haters seeing this at the time must have been jaw dropping.
would you two mind activating Closed Captioning on your videos? It would greatly improve accessibility for the Hard of Hearing community! Thank you for putting these out, can't wait to see you explore more.
We will certainly do that. Thanks for the recommendation!
You guys def do yall research !!!!

Such a great performance! Did you know how you had the screen size set up, she was cut off from the head up for a decent chunk of the video? Ha- just a “heads” up.
For whatever reason that’s how it was recorded and it was sent to us by a big fan so assumed it might have been best version. thanks for the heads up though!
