All the shadows that move across my walls, keep me up in the night as the darkness calls. All the devils and saints are in my mind, if I scream out at night, it'll be my time, it'll be my time, it'll be my time, it'll be my time. I can see them at night flying next to me, all the stars in my mind hold me, I can't breath, See the struggle I fight shout and scream in my mind: leave my maker tonight, leave the devil behind, leave the devil behind, leave the devil behind, leave the devil behind, behind, behind, behind, behind. They're watching you, they're watching me, I can help you now, I can help you see, and still they come. It's getting close to the end for everyone in this world, people die without soul, say their stories aren't told. Absolutely not. Maybe it’s because I’m a fan of post hardcore and everything else except classic/hard rock, but this sounds like it came out in the mid to late 90s. Obviously it was recorded in the 2000s though, but to me its inspirations are clearly classic rock bands.
The one clue i have is song "They're watching you" by The Lodge but it's nowhere to be found, though You can listen to other songs (live) from that album, or some demo versions of them, it might be it, vocalist sounds very close but the style is kinda different.
@@acidqueen6057 the one clue I had was this channel ua-cam.com/users/blackadder73nzvideos But the video was removed. Anyway the name of the video does't match with the name of the song...
@@tiagokoehler Yeah, wonder where he got this song from, he never stated name of the band, even wondered if he recorded it (probably with his band or he's solo musican). I writen email to Mike O'Neill (vocalist of The Lodge) a month ago, he might confirm that this song is indeed "They're Watching You" from "Take That, Devil!" by The Lodge or debunk it but sadly, he didn't responded to me.
@@tiagokoehler Thanks, also got the hope but at the same time, I don't think i can spread this more to get proper answers, like some of mysterious songs.
It's considered nearly solved, it's most likely by a duo called Marco and Dennis, Marco said it was him, but he lost the original file of the song while moving
@@Abstract2k yeah I just don’t really hear it since most performers in Australia put on more of an accent so if the singer was he would’ve not been fully
