My Grandpa past away 2 weeks ago, he was a Retired Ranger, this tribute was amazing, made me think of him, and my Uncle who is currently a Ranger. Thank you for the vid man
most kill or captured HVTs out of all other tier 2 special operations units, constantly working with jsoc operators, deploying and operating time sensitive operations with over 100 plus guys at a time. 160th and air support always on standby. what a fucking work horse the 75th Ranger Regiment is. the whole Ranger school deal has helped keep the 75th work in the shadows, because the rest of the military just see getting a Ranger tab as being a Ranger, far from it. I Am Prior Service USMC and US Army, and, I can safely say that I have served in Force Reconnaissance, Marine Expeditionary Unit ( Special Operations Capable) and the 75th Ranger Regiment, when I cross decked on over to The Army. When you're sitting in a briefing about the 75th ranger regiment, getting more and more amped by the minute as people fall asleep around you, and you're take notes about PT standards etc etc...thinking "wow! I could do this if I just push myself harder!" All joyful and psyched
only to find out as a woman you can't be attached to any ranger unit ever with any MOS for the rest of your life. The heartbreak.
Kay Berry Yeah I suppose that'd suck. However serving in the regiment isn't the end all be all. Certainly not. I'm sure whatever you end up doing in the Military will be great though.

It isn't open just yet, they allowed one woman to try out for RASP 2 and she failed miserably, it's open to Ranger School.
DarkRattle it's open to both I had a girl who tried and didn't make past day 5 in rasp and she was in the Marines.

Been up since 0550 this morning for my senior year of high school workouts for the next 5 weeks it's up and at em and after graduation around July it's gonna be the toughest 8 or 10 weeks of my life. In a year or two I'll be joining a branch of the U.S. Military my top two are Army and Air Force. Army I'm going Rangers as a reserveman. Air Force I'm going to either be a pilot or pararescue. Deus Vult.

DarkRattle back early years before multicam and ucp the rangers mixed woodland and desert in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yea they kind look like special forces except I'm sure they were not allowed to grow beards.
