Bro, this is why I like your videos see other UA-camrs out there using" data" but you're out here providing research figuring it out on your own... Keep on doing your thing, bro.
Maxed out Crit Ferocity and the Tigrex GS and it's amazing when the stars align. Getting 35K damage without heroics feels sooo good. Some hunts are over in like 10 seconds and some push the time to the limit. It's a blast when you see those big numbers though! Resentment and sneak attack are key to the build.
lmao I see that you finally came around to the potential! I mentioned my build in a previous video you made saying the skill wasn't good. My tiger axe is about to be g10 but some of the skills I have on the set I'm running are actually: partbreaker lv4, crit ferocity lv4, burst lv3, focus lv2, and artful dodger lv1. Lock on is also on it but I use gyro always so pointless in my case. Working on adding in evade extender for extra help with sword mode to that list. Insane damage tbh I'd recommend for those that love switch axe play!
I've been using Critical Ferocity 3 with the Rajang lance along with the free burst 2, offensive guard 5 and (somehow) headstrong 3. I don't know about any other weapons, but headstrong is so powerful for lance... and the CF crits have been nasty strong. Glad to see the skill getting some love.
I really liked the high raw damage of Tgrex Swith Axe. I am actually using it now, but with a built that focuses mainly on nullifying the negative crit attributes..
Personally, I'd rather go with Fighting Spirit from the Rajang chest than Nergigante Avidity. In fact, Nergigante Avidity makes Concentration absolutely useless. Meanwhile, both the Tigrex head and the Rajang chest get Concentration. That means you can potentially get MORE Specials as well as a chance to REACTIVATE Fighting Spirit.
@@RageKing897 Are you running Switch Axe? I guess the two points of Focus would help you recharge your switch gauge faster. Critical Ferocity builds really don't have a lot of good options for the legs, since all the "good" leg armors have skills that either increase affinity or need positive critical hits to activate. Your "best" bet would probably be using the Rathian, Pukei or Tzitzi legs and then trying for two good non-affinity DPS smelts, like Attack Boost or Burst.
@JanusHoW true, I've been liking the lvl2 focus but ya the slot aren't so great. I was looking at the pukie legs and maybe might try them lol and yes it's my raw swaxe build
@@RageKing897 A shame. At least Deviljho weapons can get Dragon Attack 1 from the Pink Rathian legs, and Rajang weapons can get Thunder Attack 1 and Burst from the Zinogre legs. Basarios weapons - although they're entirely inferior to even base Rathalos' by over 13% at 10.5 - can use the Aknosom legs for Fire Attack 2. And now that Bazelgeuse has been revealed, new options may open up with his armor and all of his weapons being negative affinity in the mainline games.
If it were easier to farm his mats, the Tigrex SWAx, paired with 3 tigrex armour parts, the helm, waist and legs, is a good Raw weapon to stick with till the end. It reaches 85% of the potential of elemental SWAxes (not using Nergi Avi) while the build for it allows for roughly 8% faster partbreaks (Banbaro mail for the extra PB), so being a good 1 melee weapon type to fit all situations that are melee friendly rather than building multiple elemental weapons Where it would lose out heavily are in 10* fights where minmaxing and optimal play are imperative, and when a 150% elemental weak option comes about, such as Jho, Kush and Teo, but those, at the momet, are the exceptions rather than the rule
I also crafted the Tigrex switch axe and I'm glad I did. Very fun to use. With Gold rathian chest and Tigrex legs, mega crits destroy parts so fast I get dopamine on every hit. + Tobi gloves for better movement and dodges.
Also I don't buy the "more attack rate = more mega crits = more damage" since you also get more negative crits. But it is pretty funny to hear the crits go brrr

@@FyrePro thanks man!
Back to back video uploads?! What did we do to deserve this?!
Trying to upload more haha!

Would love to see vid of that 😊 sounds awesome.

@JanusHoW oh thats also an interesting way to go about it! Perfect for rajang weapons with their negative affinity
I also run rajang over nergi chest, very affective and I use jyuratodus legs for focus

I have a nasty build with the Tigerex heavy bowgun. The spread ammo is made to proc critical ferocity.
Would you ever do a video exploring the Hellfire Resuscitate build?
What about HBG Black Diablo (-30%) and CF 3 (-20%) ? It should works with piercing ammo right?
@georgepush4243 yep i have another video with crit ferocity using the black diablos hbg
I have a question if we need to use a element Fire Thuner or wather , wich arm we need to use??????
I use the Tigrex lance with that tigrex armor and fighting spirit from rajang and the alloy boots, tigrex boots when I get it
Do you think they will add a skill that ups the % chance of critical ferocity proccing?
I hope so
Can you make an artful dodger, evade video?❤ i just love evading with S&W
does critical boost affect critical ferocity?
@@redo4357 nope. Crit boost buff critical hits. Crit feorcity buffs nagative affinity hits
@PauwerPlays thanks , i thought i can use it for my black diablos hbg with critical ferocity build, I gonna use it with partbreaker instead
I'm working on Crit Ferocity build with Tigrex GS. see how that goes.
its a fun build for gamblers 💀
I saw player use GS as well haha
Diablos HBG is just as viable as Diablos bow for CV
lmao, that affinity affect phial is surprising, i guess SA and CB are diferent
Nice video. However, I would rather use a build with an assured constant damage, than just rely on my luck. IMO.
I use tigrex heavybow gun, let me tell you, it hit like a truck
fun >>>>>>> theoretical damage
Use HBG
