I used to live next a Filipino family when I was younger. One time they invited me over to watch a Pacquiao fight, and when I got there the mother offered me a plate of food, but I had already eaten dinner so I declined. The look she gave me was so "dissapointed" and "pissed" at the same time, and I didn't want to offend, so I said "ok just a little bit please", even though I didn't have the intention of eating it. LOL...I ate 3 f***ing plates, that shit was soooo good! Felt like I was gonna explode!

Not all, I'm filipino and I don't eat pork.
I've lived in the Philippines and here is a few great facts you can learn about the way Filipinos eat:
#1. In Philippines they eat with spoon and fork together in each hand. While considered inappropriate in other countries (like the USA), I've come to like doing this because it's easier to scoop food up this way.
#2. Rice is the biggest portion of the meal. Yes it's cheaper, but it's not just a economical thing but social, as you can see Pacman is eating tons of rice. they only put a little bit of meat on the plate and then eat it with a ton of rice.
#3. Although they don't show anyone doing it here. Filipinos use edge of the spoon as a knife to cut food on the plate. I thought this was crazy when I first saw it, but I was shocked how well it works and love doing it because it saves using and washing silverware.
#4. as someone pointed out at around 1:35 Pacman gestures to someone to come eat. I've seen more common in Philippines people gesture buy pinching their figures together (as they also often eat rice w/ their hands) and point to their mouth and use a very common phrase of "Let's eat."
#5 you don't see large serving spoons as it is common for Filipinos to just share the main plate and use their own silverware to get it. For me it don't like this because it spreads germs, but Filipinos are not that ashamed to share food like this, even when socializing with others while drinking.
#6. You notice a large bowl of soup but no serving bowls. it's common for Filipinos to just pour the juice and meat onto the rice.
Crazy to think of all the differences when it comes to eating, but these are the main ones I've picked up while living in the Philippines.
I wouldn't feel comfortable if people are watching or recording me while I eat... honestly

I think the Filipino way of eating with a spoon and a fork is gotta be right utensils to be using lol. Spoon to eat with the rice and fork for poking and guiding.
