Thanks Zarko! Sounds like you started them around February 1st too? Looking forward to an update on your early start this year! Edit: I see now you've posted one. Going to watch it now to learn from the master!
Yeah, it's definitely early Travis. Last year I woke my trees in mid-March and got first ripe figs in early August. I'm starting them 45 days earlier this year and am shooting for the first ripe figs on early/mid-season varieties in mid-June.
Thanks for your videos , I was wondering if your tree would loose some of their leaves when you expose them to actual sunlight due to UV tolerance ? Also would you provide the specifications or link to the lights that you used in your greenhouse. Also I want to congratulate you on you exceptional greenhouse setting . Thanks
Thanks! You definitely need to be careful transitioning fig trees outdoors. I keep them under 70% shade cloth for the first week outside and 30% shade cloth for the second week. Then they are good to go. As to lighting, I have 22 of these 8ft, 100watt, 5000K LED shop lights: a.co/d/ixIfInf
It took a couple 4x100ft rolls of mylar. I bought them on Amazon: VIVOSUN Highly Reflective Mylar Film Roll 4FT x 100FT for Outdoor Grow Room Indoor Decoration Aluminum Paint Coated 2 Mil Silver a.co/d/1o27hk1
Well thought out and organized
Thanks!
Hell of a mother room gromie
Great set up Dean. I had to postpone my start for two weeks.

Thank you very much for the info
What trees you grow? Very nice
I'm growing about 60 different fig varieties. Too many to list here!
Awesome. Where did you get the large mylar?
