In other words, playing with "structural features" becomes very difficult. If you make changes in a car's engine or chassis, it is considered as illegal.
Modifications should be legal , different ideas of talented minds can be implemented for automobile lovers .

well actually cops were right it's ilegal to modify any part of the vehicle in india. Hopefully in future there will be a law to regulate modification in vehicles.
You can have any tyres on your vehicle but make sure you get these things done on RC also. If details of RC match with your vehicle specifications then nobody can issue challan. Good work. Keep it up

Indian laws are the most stupid things...... Sala, first fuel cost is so high which forces companies to provide small tyres to bring better fuel mileage........ But small tyres compromise on traction and safety....... Sala if we want more traction then what's the problem with the authorities....... If the authorities are saying that certain things are illegal like bull bars, air horns, LED lights fitted on our own, exhaust or tints...... But why do they even allow the sale of those products instead of hackling the drivers...... Ban the sale of all those products na...... We spend so much to improve the car's performance and then all we get is challans.......
Totally right. We modify cars by paying money for these products from which government is getting tax. Why don't they understand this basic fact. I say if we can't modify then ban all this accessories. But they won't do that because government get huge income as tax from these manufacturers. I say they should allow these modifications by implementing small fees.

@@rahulsharma3699 SC has banned any & all external modifications. One cannot even change the colour of his/her car. And we Indians belive that we live in Democratic & Republic country with Right to Freedom. Court should do its part of work not of Parliament.
@@Safalsuper the court has mainly focused on section 52 ie related to alteration with the origional specification ie chaise structure engine. Colour or wrapping is alteration to the colour defined on the car RC
