Saban is obviously the goat, but you can’t tell me Kiffin didn’t leave his finger print on that offense after he left. The offense hasn’t changed. He made the most out of a average qb at best with Blake Sims and Jalen Hurts. Saban is comfortable going empty on 3rd & 5 more than ever right now and I fuckin love it!
8:00 The banjo play is also a counter play in the red zone to the pick/rub route by the outside receiver. Guy covering the slot thought it was a rub route which is a goal line type of play. Receiver faked the flat and came back in. Man killer on the goal line 🔥
Hey Coach! If you can get the film on them I think you’d really enjoy breaking down Ferris State’s offense. Tony Annese does some great things with their offense. Plus it would be a D2 school you could check out!
Check out Western Kentucky and OC Zach Kittley! They play just as fast as anyone in the country (I think I saw a stat that has them being the fastest tempo team in FBS). I watched the Western Kentucky and Marshall game a week ago and looked like they had a competition on which team can play faster lol. But pretty nice stuff Kittley runs and he just took the OC job at Texas Tech so it’ll be interesting to see how he does in the Big 12 with some better players in Lubbock
They had a 10 win season in 2015, 2003, 1971 so they’ve done it before! Unless you meant first ten win season since he’s been there? But they’ve been successful before!
Ron Jaworski said Kiffen, like Spurrier, tell the QB who to throw to instead of reading coverages or going through a progression. Anyone know if that is true?
Kiffin will be a force in 2-3 years. He needs more quality depth to gut defenses with this scheme. What killed him this year was lack of depth. With Mingo and other key recievers not available for the Bama game his hands were tied. If you doubt what I'm saying look at the first half of the Bama game '20. Again they didn't have the depth to keep up with the number of 4 and 5stars Bama had during the 2nd half. Once (Kiffin) gets over the recruiting hump (and he has to keep Lebby) Pete Golding days will be numbered.
@@LESPAUL44mag I know they offered Campbell's bro I think he from a military academy Mt. Union I think. I don't think Altmyer is it either (for next year) he got rocked hard in that Auburn game in limited action. Kiffin will probably do something no one expects like bring back plumlee as a qb. With multiple quality RBs in the backfield and adding depth (landing Zach evans) some RPOs could be a nightmare to cover. Regardless he will need to keep Lebby to keep up in the arms races that is the SEC west.
@@Usmctbone sounds good. I think there’s a good chance we get someone from the transfer portal but even if not we could adjust our strategy and still be competitive
All the plays you show are just game dependent. I feel like you didn’t show the base plays he runs so how do I know the counters and the little nuances. Like that play action only works against that defense; doesn’t matter that the linebackers got sucked up on the run because it was a deep post.
The play action is the counter to his base play...which is the inverted veer. The deep post with the bubble was attacking the safety because the safety was jumping the bubble.
@@CoachMcKie so if the defense didn’t jump the bubble would the play have worked? Was it a glance where the receiver was going to space? I just see a play like this and I think it’s more of the defense messing up than the offensive scheme shining.
He’s overrated. There I said it. He was gifted an elite quarterback and an extremely talented RB room. Take Corral out, and ole miss is a 7 win team. He doesn’t even run that offense man it’s all Lebby
Kiffin is not over rated. Since he left Alabama, he went to FAU who had not had a season above .500 in 9 years, and went 11-3 his first year. FAU had never won 10 games in a season before that. 2 years later, they won 10 games. 2 conference championships in 3 years. Then goes to Ole Miss, which had not been to a bowl game since 2015, and wins 10 reg season games his 2nd year, and finishes 2nd in the SEC West, and 3rd overall in the SEC. If they win the Sugar Bowl, Ole Miss will end the season in top 5 teams in the nation. The offense is far from all Lebby. Lebby is a Briles offense guy. Kiffin is a spread pro style RPO guy. They both came up with a blend of the two offenses. For further proof that he is the best at what he does, who did Nick Saban go hire when he decided it was time to totally update and revamp Bama's offense? Lane Kiffin. They still run his offense at Bama to this day, albeit at a much slower pace. I rest my case.
@@ronaldmathis8957 Lebby calls the plays and is responsible for the hyper speed tempo that Ole Miss used. Kiffin never went that fast everywhere else he was. Without Corral and Lebby next year it’s gonna be a completely different ole miss team
@@radonaccount4454 There is a reason Kiffin carries a call sheet with him on the sidelines. Lebby does not make all the calls. Kiffin has taken 3 different teams to 10+ win seasons with 4 different OCs.
@@ronaldmathis8957 well no shit he carries a play call sheet with him every coach does. I understand Kiffin does call some of the plays but it’s 85% Lebby. There is a reason Lebby is up in the booth and not on the sideline and it’s because it gives him a better view of what the defense is lined up so he knows what to call. Kiffin is a good coach, I don’t want you to get the wrong impression, but he’s not elite. Heupel and him are the only 2 that go that fast.

Kiffin was Saban's gateway drug to the spread
I would like to see you do Georgia State Panthers?
My buddy coaches on the staff. Great idea!

Most definitely will since he is going Texas Tech
awsome information!
Thanks coach! That means a lot.
That’s not Lane. Look at the shades, that’s Joey Freshwater. 😂
When Saban retires, Lane is Alabama’s next Head Coach.👍
Man i sure hope you’re right
Now do Heupel and Tennessee
Coach what play writing software are you using
We snapped the ball in 12-15 seconds in middle school this year. Waxed everybody
I bet your opponents hated you.
Troy Taylor at Sacramento State has a nice offense
Yes he does. Another offense on the list of breaking down.
Evening. How about Coastal Carolina?
Great idea coach. I got some 2020 film on them...just working on 2021
Ppg doesn’t indicate tempo. Some of these fast teams score in 3 to 4 plays

Hes referring to this being their first 10 win regular season. They were talking about it on the broadcast last week vs mississippi state.
Yes sir that's what I was talking about!

First 10 win regular season
Do UT offense
Ole Miss
