Depends on what level you're looking to coach. You can start as a student assistant at a high school or college. Then you can work your way up from there.
Hey I'm 14 and I consider Football Coaching/Analytics/Scheming my life goal, I would look at the instate D1 College and apply for a major in sports management and a minor in sports coaching, or vice versa they are interchangeable but that's how my university of choice does it, I would look into interning on the coaching staff for all 4 years of college, then just look for D1 schools looking for assistant coaches around the nation and interview, interview, interview., then start the natural progress of promotion and in 20 years you'll be a coordinator in D1 schools or even nfl if lucky.
