Heres a quick 5 minute tutorial to show how to fix the flapping ,annoying door seal /gasket problem on Ford Focus and other cars.
I used some 3M double sided tape (car wash & weather resistant) it seems to be holding well after a good 24 months!!

This is exactly how I fixed the door seals on my 2017 FoRS. While the bottom is holding strong, the sides are pulling loose. Ford released a TSB stating the wire inside the seal is the culprit.

I have the same problem with by 2012 Focus. We call them the bat wings and have a game where when we go on a road trip we count how many focus's we can see on the motorway with the same problem :-) Thank you for posting the video and the useful amazon link.
This is a very helpful how to fix video and materials are easy to order. Thanks for this. Another tip is that you can use a heat gun to remove the original double sided tape. On my car most of the tape was stuck to the rubber and with the heat gun I could peel it of and clean the rubber. The glue residu on the metal is much easier to remove. On the rubber I could not get this thin sticky layer removed. But I could at least get the foam piece of the old original tape, which is between the two adhesive layers, removed. The foam has a pretty open structure and is usually filled with dust so it needs to be removed for proper adhesion.
Just used this fix on my 2018 Ford Cmax. I found double sided tape worked well I picked the 10mm wide 3m tape you recommend. Thanks for advice hopefully will last a couple of years !

I used superglue. Has held for two years now.
I reckon high powered car wash hoses cause this.

The same problem has happened to my 2017 Focus. Thanks for the video. We appear to be driving very similar cars. mine is also deep impact blue, with the same wheels as yours. Mine is a 1.5 tdci. How have you enjoyed yours so far?
I absolutely love the Focus, never expected to keep it so long however its just so well built with everything in the right place. 2.0 tdci good power. good MPG Love it!

Tried this double sided tape but the adhesion is very poor in my opinion, especially for the price. I'm looking for something else.
