Looks great! Registers are one of the many overlooked DIY projects that can completely transform the look of your home. There are so many decorative and affordable vents to choose from! :)
Yeh, such an easy thing to do and looks so much nicer! And yeh, so awesome that there are all kinds of different vents to choose from these days! Thanks for watching.
Hey there. I guess you could. To me, though, it’s not worth the effort for such a small space anyway (the outside). You are already going to be using the small brush for the grille. Just my take.
Ours seems to be stuck to the wall even without the nails. I’m guessing they painted around it and it’s dried stuck. Is it safe to paint it while it’s on the wall??
Yeh, could be just because they painted around it. I’ve also found people caulk their vents to the walls, which is silly, but I bet it’s just stuck with paint. I mean, you could paint if when it’s on the wall if you want, but you are seeing what happens when you do that. It gets stuck. I’d try to wedge a putty knife or something really flat like that under the vent to see if you can pop it off. Just my opinion, though.
@@daddoesvideos so update, I used an exacto knife to run it along the edges of the vents and they came right off 👌🏻 cleaned them, and have them painted now just drying outside. They look good 💯 thanks for your video!!

Thanks Dad! I need to resurface my Bathroom Vent. It looks rusty over the years. Steel Wool will be a need to make painting much easier, cleaner.
Yeh, it will do the trick! Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for this video. I will use your technique when painting my bedroom.
Excellent! Good luck!
This is what I needed
Glad I could help!
@@daddoesvideos I want all the vents to look “silver” to give the house a “industrial” look. Going to give this a try
Ahh, nice. That could look really nice. Good luck!
Should I roll the outside and use the smaller brush to paint the inside vent/grille?
Thanks

Do you need to use paint fir metal, or normal wall paint
Just normal wall paint works perfectly fine.
