I liked how the Lair not only helps you bring parts of a game to a house without needing to bring 2+ large boxes of cards over, but it also gets the game set-up at the meeting place within 5 minutes, since the tokens are in the trays, etc. Also, I loved how you were able to fit some Uberstix things in the box for card holders as a bonus, since I don't think many people would have thought that Uberstix can also fit in a Liar with the right set-up.
Hopefully, it'll see many years of use for your game nights, and save you all of that time going through 1000+ cards at the meeting place if you had to bring those white boxes everywhere (and also save you from future back problems from moving heavy boxes from a house to a card and vice versa).
If it lasts as long as my uberstax have, I’ll be thrilled! :)
I have the Lair and its one of my best accessory purchases for Marvel Champions. The 1100 Dungeon I also have but I don't really enjoy it as much. Deck boxes fit fine but if you try to place sleeved cards they have to go in vertically and trying to fit the cards horizontal won't fit. Regret the Dungeon purchase but the Lair is definitely worth it as my traveling box and holds everything I need for Marvel Champions. Great video and review!
@Mr.L Great to hear about your love of the Lair! I'm really impressed with the quality, and while the price tag hurt initially, I think it will get used A LOT ... like my uberstax. :)

We have the black/orange version in use since last year and really love it. At the moment, it stores 20+ games which we take with us on vacation. Of course, we don’t talk large dungeon crawlers here 😏, but mostly smaller card games and laminated roll and writes. I.e. games where you only need some components and don’t have to carry around the boxes or even the manuals.
@Gunnar I'll probably be taking out the uberstax and use that row for other games. Maybe a version of Love Letter, and Star Realms. :)
Great job on the video! I've been eyeing the lair as well but haven't pulled the trigger because of that price tag. I think if I can find a good deal on it I'll definitely be picking one up.

I have my collection in the original boxes with the usual wooden storage thingies in each. It works fine unless they ever decide to stop publishing expansions. This solution would never work if I had the need to take any portion of it to another location. As it is, for convenience, I’m using a mess of Ultra Pro Deck Boxes. Currently five boxes hold ready to go heroes (color coded to aspect, natch), one holds a villian and one holds dials. There’s a small pile of empties over by where I store my bulk sleeves as well. My burgers (just bought some more, too) I have in some generic screw together, transparent containers that work just fine and make a hearty weapon when assembled into one piece.
Finally there’s my all purpose messenger bag. Perfect for transporting small pieces of art and also for those times I take boxed games and stuff for a ride in the car.
OTOH, if I ever had the need to regularly pack a large hunk MC together and hit the road, Games Lair would be one I would give a serious look to.

@@DaletheCasualGamer No it’s merely madness brought on by chronic mild OCD. Doing the arts stuff all these years has made me peculiar.
I have a problem, I use Dragon shield inner sleeves and unfortunately, it's difficult to put 3 decks double-sleeved in a row of that box, maybe 1cm larger would have been perfect.

I'm using 2 of those plus an 1100 dungeon. Running out of space quick still. But it's nice to hold the tokens and a few decks etc.

You should check out BCW Pritme x4 XL case. I use it for my Marvel Champions now. I can easily fit up to 4 heroes with their aspect cards, a whole campaign set of scenarios, tokens, and some extra cards for tweaking decks.
@J Atkinson That's definitely a less expensive option! :)
With boxes like this is always the same problem. It looks good when you see it, but it is unpractical when you use it. I use wooden chests for storage and UltraPro Tower for Burger Tokens and current played cards.
So far so good, I’ll revisit in a year. :)

Games Lair really looks good! Have you tried fitting dragon shield sleeves' paper box into the games lair with the middle divider attached?
@Mark They are just barely a bit too big. They can be "forced" but I wouldn't recommend them. :)
Dale I use this for marvel champs its amazing if you would like I can show you some pictures of what it looks like. I highly recommend this product for those who have this game.

Happen to post these anywhere public that I can view as well? Thanks for review. I’ve recently upgraded my storage with perfect fit burger deck boxes and a label maker with 10mil stencil dividers. Burger tokens are on the way now that they are back in stock to see what all the fuss is about. I tend to play this game with 3-4 and do a couple villains each night so I’m curious if this would work or be just a bit too small.

this looks great i think i will get one for vampire rivals. question, you use dragonsheild clears? dont you have a problem with them curling at the edges? i love dragonshield but the clear ones always curled for me.
@Marc Bennett I've been using Dragonshields for 2 to 3 years, and no issues so far ... and I've used Marvel Champions quite a bit! :)

Hi just wondering what size are the individual deck box sizes that you use
Since MC just has too many cards, I will still be looking for a different storage so solution. However, this was very close to what I’m looking for and it would work but I would need to buy several of these and that can be expensive. I’m glad you showed this off because it can still come in handy for other games. If only they’d make a box bigger.
@Solo Board Gaming Knight This is definitely not my "storage" solution, but a "travel" solution. For my storage, still using those cardboard 3 row boxes. :)
Where did you purchase your removable deck boxes? Those look really nice to have.
They are the typical plastic deck box that I cut the lid off of. :)
What is the size of the large compartment above the drawers? Can't find the info anywhere and would like to know whether it could fit the boards of some smaller games
Do you have the card storage compartment internal dimension and thickness of the divider? Also, what size are your deck boxes? 80+ equivilent?
I HAVE THIS ONE I USE IT TO STORE ALL MY VILLAINS AND ENCOUNTER SETS I HAVE ANOTHER GAME GENIC CASE THAT HOLDS ALL THE EXPANISON SETS. MY HERO CARDS ARE ALL STINN IN THE BOXES THE EXPANIONS CAME IN I NEED TO COME UP WITH A BETTER WAY.
The 2 3-row cardboard boxes is my storage solution, so nothing fancy. :)
This one is so cool. But I’m thinking for other uses. What are the measurements of the top pocket to store the miscellaneous things. It seems it can hold the villainous boards
Roughly 8 1/2" long, 4 1/4" wide and about 1" deep. I wish the manufacturer provided a schematic, but I didn't see one. Hope this helps! ")

Just travel, I’ll stick with my “budget” storage solution. :)

It's holding up well. Not as bright of a blue, but I do drag it across some dusty tables. Love the trays and has enough room a couple main decks and extra cards to use as needed. :)
