As a kid I thought this was so cool and it made me to want to be a scientist like spiderman. Happy to say I actually am "something of a scientist" myself now. Neat to see this one line made an impression on so many other people.
My goodness, Roscoe Lee Browne's voice was INCREDIBLE in this role. I freaking loved the Kingpin. My only beef was that he lost too much, too many times his plans were foiled in ways that didn't fit with him being a master tactician and genius. Take this line for example, it is delivered brilliantly. But its never followed up on! Ever! You would think Kingpin would use that little factoid to help him deduce who Spiderman was in the future. If they had let Kingpin have little victories - or have him win "the war" while spiderman won battles (a la David Xanatos in Gargoyles) it would have made him even more badass.
There's a ton of missed opportunities in this cartoon, but at least it's still entertaining from how nutty everything gets. Would've loved to see more badass moments though, especially from major villains like Kingpin!
@@Vegetoid I am only just getting done watching it for the first time. Only have two eps left in the series. This is one of my favorite animated shows for sure.
@@patrick4662 As far as comics go, my favorite spidey cartoon has always been Spectacular Spider-Man (I have a couple of clips from that on this channel also lol). The X-men cartoon from the 90s might also pique your interest if you haven't watched it yet, and as far as Marvel in general goes, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is also very solid. DC also has some great cartoons, most obvious of note being Batman: The Animated Series. Justice League Unlimited is a super fun one as well, among a ton of other ones.
Knew somebody out there cared for this line also
You know, I'm something of a scientist myself.
Craniumologist 🤯
It's not possible for me to read that in my own voice

cheers
Always loved this line.
This and when JJ Jameson found out Spider-Man knows a lot about nuclear physics are my two favorite scenes.
Idk why I like this line so much
Spider-man was an average superhero, Kingpin, but he was a BRILLIANT SCIENTIST!
Vegeta from DBZ ocean dub, lol
Kingpin: then i must send him to another dimension!

Oh hey two- face what you doing here
Ironically, his voice actor, David Warner, _did_ voice a character in Batman: The Animated Series, but it wasn't Two-Face...it was Ra's al Ghul.
Thats Herbert Landon.
Langdon is like, "I don't know, maybe?"
He’s a good friend of Kurt Connors
The -ntist part is so cute
Idk what it is about this because even though he's a superhero and fighting kingpin, he's surprised about Spiderman being a scientist.
Batman's a scientist
Its not Barman 😂
Ok Marge
It's not Spider-Man!
