I'm loving these videos. Your theory crafting commentary along with the speed run format is educating and entertaining at the same time. I hope you keep churning these out.
I noticed that the ruins give a ton more stone per hit than the regular ore nodes, like 3x per hit or something, definitely worth seeking those out when farming stone bricks.
A useful tip when fighting in the sun, you can use the suck/kill dodge to reset your sun timer.. getting good at using that reset to dodge the sun and dodge attacks is a big skill break in the game I think.
Our ruleset is currently a 2h raid/siege window only in the evenings and we are theorycrafting making it 1h so you dont have to be online as much. Sieging should be fun and everyone should be prepared for it!
I notice you like using animals against other enemies so i figured id share something i figured out. Not sure exactly how helpful it is, but aggo wolves and then take wolf form while they are aggroed to you, they wont attack you, one of the features of being a wolf, but they will still follow you around like they are aggroed to you. So you can drag wolves to fight things for you
Cool vid! You may have had this already but just as a heads up, the visuals for the red text on the thumbnail is barely visible (no idea what the red text said) when perusing youtube videos, not sure if it looks better when creating it due to the scaling.
Hey, some ideas of improvements: - try to get a base with one natural entrance, so you only have to make an air lock, would save u the mats from all thoses walls - using the bench, the sawmill and production stuff as a chest (doing 2 sawmill and 2 tanerie is a bit overkill in my opinion. Better doing other stuff around while crafting and save thoses mats)
Since the video is 3 weeks old, you probably know by now, that resources arent locked by gearscore, they are locked by tools. You could have been mining that copper along the roads and skipped the mine as soon as you got the reinforced bone mace. And the Grave Dust will drop off the ghouls, undead priests and mages in the graveyard.
Make this look so easy.. been playing for 2 whole days, im not a PC player so my movement is awful, i hit 2 keys and mis click a lot! smh! Great video!
Hey hey Tony! Thanks for stopping by, you will get better with time I promise. It’s such an enjoyable game, my PvE play through with friends was a 10/10 for sure 😌
The urns in the tutorial area are 99% of time just 10 stone or wood. so you should just loot the coffins and pickup the floor bones and maybe kill the enemies if you want to spend the time for that, you could easily get same amount from killing skeletons later on with better gear.
@@SoBadStrange i haven't throughly tested it yet but I think you have to make sure the treant/golem gets the hit that breaks the node so the resources from the damage it dealt drop. It shouldn't be too hard to let the mob get the last hit due to the damage they deal but its something to be aware of
Trying to hit trees and so on while running can slow you down making you hit slower than if you stand still. so it would just make you hit and move slower with less resource gain. at least with axes
Is there any merit to having a permanent solo base in the hallowed mountains? waygate in close proximity as well as relative proximity to 2 cave exits that are valuable in mid and late game.
I think you just described perfectly the merits of having that base in that location. It is also out of the way/hidden/forgettable and in competitive most players wouldnt want to ferry a siege golem from T3 all the way to hallowed.
@@SikGamer70 you don’t need any travel form to use the one directional cave passages. You can indeed travel with resources through them as well as be on a horse. It’s possible bat form could make them two directional though.
Your strat is not bad, but i dont think you need to grind that many fibre before going alpha, alpha is a must and it saves you tons of time of traveling
This game looks nice, for the people complaining about the sun. Go play rust ya grubs....but I hate rust and this game looks too much like it too many of the same mechanics. No progression just like rust, hop in server get wiped move to next server HARD PASS. Enjoyed watching you play tho man!
Ah yeah the pvp siege mechanic is hard for a lot of people. Proper utilization of the unlootable vampire lockboxes and protective servants definitely minimizes the odds of being raided while offline but it’s my personal view that a 1-2h siege window is the only viable option.
@@numzog6290 I meant hard to get zeroed without progression. I LOVED Albion! That is why I love this game so much Numz and highly rec you play it! I always say this is Micro Albion. Sieges, defense, counter-siege, crafting, lose gear + inv. Honestly, on the competitive servers there isn't as much sieging, its too dangerous and too obvious. But I always respect your opinion mate.

another tip, you can hold down F while walking over items to just mass pickup, no need to spam it

You don't have to spam F to loot, you can just hold if pressed and it will auto loot everything around you.

not sure if you know this but you can use treants and golems to break resources

How do the cave exits work? Can you bring resource through them? Do you have to use bat form to get in there or does frog form work also?

I feel there is enough copper around the map that you don't ever have to actually go into the mine.

Thank you! I think farming those actually wouldnt be too hard after the base is dropped. At lvl 10 it seems too risky/time consuming though.
How come you were able to craft the immortal kings greathelm at the start?
That comes with the DLC pack but it is only a cosmetic!

Fight her inside of the tent trust me she weirds out and is super easy you could honestly kill her in the tent with no armor and just using your claws
