Hey there viewers! Today I will show you how to speed up your internet speed.
NameBench Windows + Mac: code.google.com/p/namebench/do...
HOW TO FIX NameBench of Mac OSX Mountain lion
1) Download mac dmg and extract the ".app" to your desktop
2) Eject the DMG (drag to recycle bin)
3) Right click on namebench.app and click "Show Package Contents"
4) Go to "Contents/Resources/libnamebench"
5) Right click on "health_checks.py" and "open with TextEdit"
6) Find "hostname = 'namebench%s.%s' % (random.randint(1, 2**32), domain)" and change it to "hostname = 'namebench%s.%s' % (random.randint(1, 2**16), domain)"
7) SAVE AND YOUR DONE
DNS Servers:
OpenDNS-208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220
Google Public DNS-8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
Norton DNS for Home-198.153.192.50 & 198.153.194.50
Comodo Secure DNS-8.26.56.26 & 8.20.247.20
DNS Advantage-156.154.70.1 & 156.154.71.1
FAQ's
1) Will it harm my computer? No it's easy to switch back.
2) Will this effect video speed? Yes it does. Don't ask me how but it does.
3) Will it harm my router? No, unless you change the DNS on your router.
4) Is it a virus? NO why would I give you a virus. All your doing is changing your DNS.
5) Can't watch the video! Just google "online UA-cam video downloader" and download the video and watch it. - Наука та технологія

With 1.4TB/s (Tested in London, UK) you can download full size (everything) English Wikipedia in only 0.0006s.
I dont know why you would like to do that, but its good thing to show how fast it is.
.... 1.4TB/s for 0.0006s is only 840MB. Pretty sure Wikipedia is more the 0.84 GBs
This fact was writen by an youtuber, not me.
To download the articles of wikipedia is 10GB, not 840MB. when uncompressed the file becomes 40GB in size.

I don't know. Maybe you should try it out. I'll try doing the same thing, so that way we'll see. Just set the Speedhack to 0.1, and don't go to 1.0 :)
No it doesn't speed up gaming perfomance. However depending on where you live you can increase your speed. For example I pay 4.99 extra per month and get 50Mb/s instead of 30 there's one where I can get ultra 101 and that's like 100Mb/s Down which is extremely fast. But that one's $55 extra. So it all depends on where you live and how much are you willing to shell out for speed
well true intra morph . but some of the lag could be from the game + the internet. i had that problem before

Oh dont worry it might be your pc not net... i got fail on speedtest on my old pc but now testing i get 7 ping and 17 Mbps.... you have no idea how many calls i made to my net provider before... my youtube isnt working :D.... i feel so stupid now :D

***** Lol you funny xD. What I don't get is how can anyone live with anything less than 50Mb/s internet. I couldn't do it... If anything I'm going to upgrade but it's extra $55 per month for double the speed. I had it for two months and decided 50's enough for me and yeah it's a bit slower but it gets the job done. I can play online and stream with no problem so that's good nuff for me

No.. If you want a faster download speed ask your ISP or pay more money. DNS will speed up on how your pages load not downloads
Theoretically it should not increase download speeds since DNS is used for looking up the IP to the corresponding domain name. Once a connecting is made you would think that DNS would not effect the speed. HOWEVER from all my tests it does seem to improve download speed. Don't ask me why but it does...I have tried to figure out why but haven't so far.

it does speed up the pages you load. Not the actual internet speed. I'm not hating.Don't get me wrong. Just stating that it won't help you with your download speed or anything else

Any idea how to get a better router connection? I have 3 bars and that's slow for downloading things or buffering videos. any clue to speeding that up or will doing what this video fix that?

does this only help with domain name servers or does it speed up everything over all like steam and download speeds if not those will it speed up the downloads of things directly through google?

Hey Kid (and I mean that with respect okay), I noticed the other day that you use this type of video editing software called Cyber link Power Director. I wanted To ask you if you still do use it. Because I want to get it but I've read many reviews that people go through crashes when using that software. Do you have any thoughts with that. Also I got Vista, i know it's not the best OS but I got to work with what i got.
This sort of worked. Not much of an improvement from the internet that i had but it's little more consistent on download and upload. Anyway thanks a bunch, kind of wished that it would be a little bit faster but I'm happy with it. :]
@Hunter Yelton Yeah it does. It effects how fast your computer can be rerouted to the correct domain ip. It has everything to do with speed.
