I’m glad I stumbled on this channel. Subscribed. And I think this will be my bar setup! Soon as they get back in stock. I like the height close to stock. But how is the pull back? Closer than stock? That’s what I’m looking for.
she is 5'3 but I think this riser height would work well for you also. More so depends on how you wanna ride. This height is great if u wanna get aggressive in corners while still maintaining comfort on longer rides. I'm 6 foot and I run some that are 12 inches of rise.
@@tylerjohnson3097 dang that's a fast reply. Thanks for the info, and yeah that's the kinda riding I want. Didn't think that height would fit someone shorter than me lol
Ya that should be about all you need, gorilla cables makes some nice wiring extensions, I might be good with the clutch cable if you have a street bob though
@@TheMrJHSN Let me rephrase, what do you suppose are the minimum extra parts I would need to do the job? I know for sure the gauge extension wiring. The less I have to spend on wiring, cables, and lines, the more I'll have to put toward a fairing, bags, and a cam.
@@crvzer it’s really hard to say, each model softail will come with different length clutch and brake line. For the most part wiring is the same I believe. Really depends on what’s more important, downtime or saving money. If saving money then get at least a brake line and clutch line then see if the wires reach, hopefully they do, if not be ready to order wires. Or buy everything u need and make sure u can return what u don’t use is another option
Hey brotha, I’m adding a beringer master cylinder to my 2001 dyna fxr super glide, I sliced off my original front brake light switch from my hand controls, and I added the beringer brake light switch, screws right in, but also has reverse polarity, with the new beringer brake light switch my brake light is on with lever unreleased, and off with lever pulled in, basically opposite of what I need it to be doing, not an electrician but if you could help me understand or fix the problem with the brake light switch it would be much appreciated, thank you
It was a Odi Podium handlebar Original Garage Moto 8.5 inch risers Guerilla cable gauge extension harness And as always loctite everything! Stock cables worked fine, if u got anymore questions u can DM me on Instagram, my username is the same as it is here 🤘
That setup is sweet. Thanks for the vid!
Use women’s hairspray for your grips. Extra hold if you can. Works great for putting the grip on, sticks great, comes off if you need it too.

Definitely closer then stock. I think you'll like it a lot!
@@TheMrJHSN thanks for the reply! Already signed up stock update status. I’ll definitely be buying this setup. 👊✊✊
When u order this riser, digital speedometer came with it right
This is kinda old but I'm just wondering how tall she is? I'm 5'6 and have been looking around for some risers and bars

What do you suppose would need to be changed to fit the OG Moto 10.5" risers and ODI bars? New upper clutch cable, wiring, brake line?

@@TheMrJHSN Correct. 2019. Thanks for the reply. 👍🏼
Did you like that speedometer? Is it easy to see in night and day
This isn’t my bike but I believe my lady likes it
I just bought the same setup for my FXBBS and I would like to know what happened with the gauge extension? Did you find one?
Gorilla cables makes a set
Just wondering if your wife is still riding with this set up? I’m and about 5’ 4” and I’m looking to bring the bars back to me a little more.
Yes she still is. Love the set up
@@TheMrJHSN Thank you very much!!
What did you use to widen the holes on the bottom of the bars that connect to the risers? Just a big drill bit?
No I have a mill at my work I used
A dremel will work though
You changed the risers on the bob. Are those Kraus?
Yes in running kraus pullbacks
How much altogether
How did you get the wires through the bars?
I just staggered them and slid them through. U may have to depin your connectors
I subbed i just want this set up but for some reason I want maybe a 6 in rise to ride more aggressive
