I would assume if theres Fugue, HMC would not need to use ERR rope like the 1st run right? Since exo-toughness also gives him energy if broken. Because you didnt mention if you were still using an ERR rope on that 2nd run with sustainless FF.
@@bronben5479 fugue exo-toughness give energy for HMC. So his energy output would be doubled, so I don't really think HMC would need to use ERR rope in a sustainless team with Fugue around.
@@rasxhu6643 it isn’t about HMC’s ult uptime, it’s more about procing DDD as much as you can. With sustainless you can get like 4-5 activations of the ult which is massive, especially when trying to 0 cycle. If you don’t have DDD then yeah, you can skim out on the ERR rope and just run break rope for the extra BE.
i see this take being repeated everywhere, but is it actually true that fugue is *good* for boothill? i mean in practice, not in magical chrismas land where apparently slotting her in is free (spoiler alert: it is not. you have to remove a character from the team before adding one)
Answer is as usual,it depends. Fugue adds break delay and your whole team also has delays and AAs. so if all of your units are on tanky builds, you can survive at least 2 cycles against most things in a sustainless comp (Fugue + Ruan + last slot being either HMC or Bronya/Sunday) However - It assumes you have enough damage to 2 cycle with your lineup. - It assumes you have Ruan Mei, because without her you don't get enough SPD and delays, and the lack of weakness break efficiency means you can't one-and-break enemies to prevent damage. The other slots have more freedom. - It is a sweaty way of playing because you gotta actively order and plan your breaks to avoid damage, and not everyone wants to bother, not to mention it's not always a viable strat anyway. With a sustain team, she is still good, and usually replaces Bronya/Sunday without issues. (less actions, but way more damage and easier trickshot stacking against non phys weak lineups, but they ultimately perform very similar). At E1 she straight up replaces Ruan Mei if you don't have her/want to use her in another team and you can either run Fugue + Bronya/Sunday or Fugue + HMC and it's a straigt upgrade in every way. Sooo just consider all of this depending on how you wanna play Boothill/your current support lineup!
Fugue buff can be stack with hmc buff, for superbreak team this is crucial, there are video about xueyi with fugue hmc and rm reach 800k/ult and 300k/skill, the cons is no sustain in that team, If you really invest in superbreak team and can manage team without sustain, Fugue is really must pull, well if you use lingsha for dps then there are no problem

I see this take everywhere, but how exactly will we be playing HMC super break on one side and a RMC team on the other side, in all content? Unless you’re a new player, don’t we have other viable team comps?
I feel like the only world where you need HMC on one side and RMC on the other is if your account doesn't have Robin. If you have Robin, you should rarely ever be in a scenario where you need both HMC and RMC.

This was always the case because since all of FF's damage comes from Super Break, you'd want the Unit with the biggest Super Break multipliers. If Firefly is your only Break DPS, Fugue is only worth pulling if you don't want FF to be unusable if you are already using RMC on one side of endgame modes.
Y'all should take into account that as early as 3.0 the new angel MoC boss will be basically unplayable for Firefly without Fugue using her skill on Lingsha to destroy the pillars, if you wanna bring Firefly only to shilled content then Fugue is not needed, but if you wanna play her everywhere going forward you will want Fugue

firefly with fugue e 2 is really good right? Is it a zero cycle with firefly e2 fugue ruanmei and lingsha or do you still need to run sustainless
