Hey sorry to bother you, but as a fishermen, do you know how hardy you have to be? I've seen a scrawny dude from my last job about my Size 6'2 in hight and both of us were fairly skinny about 170-180 pounds each, he left UPS and started working on bait boats, dunno what a bait boat is but i assume it's someone who brings fishermen bait, he said its 10xs easier lifting and dealing with bait and catching lobster as you hardly sweet, I'm skinny but I sweat so much it became a massive worry for my family, anyway It always seems cloudy and cool weather over there and whenever my friend sends a video, he would have already worked 4 hours but didn't break a sweat due to how cold everything is, anyway if he made it, do you think someone my size can handle it? Or is it something you need to be able to bench 250 pounds easily like how UPS let us.

I love it when vocations become traditions and passions that carry on throughout generations. There is a family up the road from me who are on their 7th or 8th generation of stewarding, tapping, and boiling maple syrup on the same acreage.
Absolutely amazing that you were able to get into doing what you love at such an early age. My family was in the roofing business. I could roof a house as a teen, but I hated it and got far away from it the first chance I got. 😅
My grandfather was a roofer and fell off the roof and became disabled. He was disabled the entire time of my life. He sat on the couch drinking Budweiser and watching westerns or wrestling. Roofing is a hard job and can be dangerous. He knew a lot a men that got hurt doing that job. Some worse than others.
Great intro video - loved seeing pics of you as a boy with your Dad and Granddad. 😊 I lived in Maine for 7 years close to the coast and I would go to lobster pounds in the Harpswell area to eat or get lobsters for dinner at home. Watching your channel brings back good memories, and I admire the way you and your crew do your work. Many of the elderly lobsters still remember your first time catching them and releasing them with a snack! The lobsterman with the best reputation in the ocean! 😎🦞🫡

I grew up in a small isolated fishing community in Nova Scotia and while I never did any lobster fishing myself, it's bringing back a lot of memories of my home town and the people there when I watch your content (even the accent is almost identical)! It's cool learning how much there is to know about lobsters and the fishing process that I never knew about despite being around it as a kid. Guess I was just too busy eating the lobsters to care lol

From upstate NY currently living in Chicago! Have been going to Rockland Maine EVERY SUMMER since I was a baby! Have a lot of family up there! It’s been such a staple in my family & we have family Friends are a lobstermen! I’ve gone out to haul with them a couple times & boy …… it’s so fun but also so much respect for the work y’all do on the daily!! Y’all are amazing!! Watching you also brings me that home feeling! I remember watching your Dad play basketball in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, in the 1980’s. Your Grandfather was the coach, your Uncle Chris was the big man. It was one of the best teams I remember watching. Your Grandfather was a great coach and an even greater person.
My grandfather was a jeweler who fished in the Long Island Sound every moment he could. He had one lobster pot in the 60s and 70s. It was great cooking a lobster right on the beach at night!

I saw some of the shorts on Facebook and ended up watching a lot of them and then found your channel here, so I had to subscribe. You are great at making fun, enlightning and entertaining videos on a subject that might not interest that many, myself included, if it weren't for the way you go about it. It honest and very entertaining and I find myself interested in seeing more, almost wanting to try it out for a day or week even.
I didn't realize that boat was so big!!??!! It looks like my dream boat, which is a Hinckley Picnic boat, which is based on the lobster hull design. But I'm sure you know all about those 😅. I can definitely picture you and the family cruising around in a Hinckley on the weekends. This channel has blown up so well that I'm sure you can afford one. Something I won't ever be able to though lol. Keep up the great content!

The best we get in the north Pacific is the Puget Sound King Crab (Box Crab). I've caught 3 in my lifetime, the biggest weighed 5.3 pounds
I would love to have you explain the best parts of lobsters for cooking. Maybe also cover what’s the difference between a cold water lobster and a warm water lobster. Are they different in taste?
I've eaten hundreds of lobsters from Calias to Connecticut. My sixth birthday I wanted to see the fisherman of Gloucester, and that's where we went. Now...I have to wonder if I have eaten a Jacob lobster?
Are there lobster fishing tours in Maine? It would be a really cool experience for those in landlocked areas to catch their own lobsters and cook them on the beach.
