Dude I've been working at mc Donald's for a little over a year now. Worked at 3 separate restaurants(staying at the 3rd, they part timed me long story) and no one showed me how to do this, not a boss, or the guy installing them. Thanks man you probably saved my job lol
In my restaurant in the UK one of our full vats for FR FRIES has had the E-10 error on it for almost an entire month, I told them about this process and it fixed everything!
During the 'remove solution from vat' stage, how much dirty degreaser water do we need to manually remove (4:15-4:27)? AND how much water should we add for rinsing lines (5:32-5:38)? Thanks for the helpful vids!!! Keep up the great work, you are appreciated!
Hi Brad, the idea behind removing some of the solution is to minimize the weight of the filter pan when discarding the rest of the solution in the vat; so remove as much as needed to make the handling of the filter pan more manageable. When adding water for rinsing, add as much as needed to raise the level to the same height as the ring left around the vat; however, make sure not too add so much that solution will spill over to the next vat or outside of the fryer. How often should this be done?
