Hi Nick. The roll is made from corrugated drainage pipe covered with a neoprene sleeping mat - cost about 15 EUR. The fitting for the end of the trailer is made from aluminium square section tubing from Castorama - cost 5- 10 EUR. The pin on the fitting is made from Nylon tubing which I had to make to size on a lathe and also tap a thread in it to screw it securely to the fitting. Its probably 3-4 hours of work if you have some engineering skills.
So one man rig with two people... Great Idea!!
Is that guy in the green shirt part of the one man rigging system?
CloudStreets yes
man in green spoiled your video:) - no longer one man rigging. 2:06 - never drop the wing without pin in.
A lot of people for a one man rig.
After spending $150k on glider and trailer you are risking your glider with that kind of crap assembly aid? Wow
+Herbert Kilian ... And what precisely is crap about it?
+Herbert Kilian Omg so crabb lol
what material did you use for the rol and the fix for the wing on the trailer?
