    Kinda feel bad for wes malott, it seemed as though most pba title matches really put a lot of pressure on him. eg. needs a strike to win or needs 2 strikes to win

    • @BigRedRIP

      It means he had to amend his game more than he was comfortable. That speaks to how great a bowler he is to score on this pattern that doesn't fit his A game.

    the only reason lavoie went high on the first shot in the 10th is because he pulled it and when he moved on the 3rd shot which caused him to go through the face when he never needed to move in the first place thats the only reason he lost

    Really? I haven't watch bowling for awhile but, since when did the PBA need some gangsta,( incredible that spellchecker didn't call me out on gangsta) to pump the crowd up. As far as Belmonte excusing his poor bowling with a more lackadaisical attitude is hillarious. He hasn't won a title since 2015 and the 2016 is coming to a close. So much for the greatest bowler in the world.

    • @khairkhair6947
      @khairkhair6947 7 років тому +2

      Stryker Aww so sad to see people like u commenting on a professional/international bowler when you yourself have not reach the same amount of accomplishment he had in bowling.
      1)You talk as if you're the greatest bowler in the world.
      2)Even the best have their worst season run(Dont think that they are the greatest they win all the time)

      @doublingthefun8143 7 років тому +1

      +Anaxagoran Don't mind this guy. He opens his big mouth on just about every video with Belmonte in it as if his wise-guy remarks take away any of Belmo's accomplishments. Although, as you were saying, Belmonte's victories in 2017 seem to have shut him up.

    That is one of the most pathetic games I ever saw Belmonte play. My highest score is higher than the one he got today. How the hell can they call him the best bowler in the world? He is totally overrated.

    • @RRBuilder611
      @RRBuilder611 Рік тому +7

      clearly you've never bowled against anyone on these conditions. I have a 300, but Belmo would roast me on any condition 99/100 times, and its the same for you. Grow up.

    • @ghostcathedral
      @ghostcathedral 10 місяців тому +5

      Because you play on a broken down house shot. He is playing on a 52' pattern full of thick oils so he has to play inside. There is no choice but to play inside. You, on the other hand, have access to your entire respective side of the lane. Not to mention, Belmo would absolutely whip you up and down that bowling alley with how well he could bowl.

    • @Zurround
      @Zurround 10 місяців тому

      @@ghostcathedral I do not understand this whole "oil pattern" thing. What is wrong with just bowling on a regular lane. Nobody at the bowling alley I play it is rubbing that blue oil all over the place. Why don't they just get rid of the whole "oil pattern" thing? When the hell did that start?

    • @ghostcathedral
      @ghostcathedral 10 місяців тому +4

      And that is what separates you, an average bowler who probably doesn't have a game above 260, if even that, to a professional bowler who averages your high game.
      The different oil patterns make it so that players can't get used to the same pattern and also create different lines. If bowlers bowled on the same pattern every single time the PBA would be a 300 frenzy. There would be no point to events like the TOC and the US Open, as they have their own special patterns. The different patterns are meant to keep the bowlers on their toes.
      I guarantee you if you bowl on a new pattern, your average will drop by a solid 80 points.

    • @ghostcathedral
      @ghostcathedral 10 місяців тому

      And the blue oil is for better visibility of oil breakdown and, more recently, ball tracers.
