    I really like your style! I've always liked gourds but was told they were poison to breath so, I haven't tried to grow any. I think, I will grow them this year. Thanks for enlightening me!

      Cleaning them is when it is most critical to wear a mask, and use a ventilation fan if you have one... But they are fun to work with once cleaned...

    Beautiful gourd!! I try to raise them but mine never get that nice & thick. I'm in Zone 5 & I think the growing season just isn't long enough! You do such lovely work!! 😊

    Well done! Especially appreciate that you show more of what you call the boring parts but are really repetitious teaching. Each stroke is a little different. You are showing hand/wrist movements needed for working straights, angles and curves plus actual time involved. This is very important for folks considering any art. To know time commitment before beginning helps with patience level and whether you will finish. Question: do you plan to sell any of your plain ‘just gourds’ in your Etsy shop? Haven’t seen any of the big drum gourds anywhere and think they would sell well-if you can bear to part with them. ☺️

      I dont have enough to really sell, but I may list some seeds from them in our etsy store... I will announce it in Part 3 if I can...

    How bad are the fumes from the burinng plastic?

    • @BumbleBeeJunction
      @BumbleBeeJunction  3 роки тому

      The warnings are the same as regular woodburning, which are to do it in a well ventilated area and wear a mask. i have not really noticed any particular fumes though. Perhaps because the transfer paper is so thin.
