Thanks for posting this amazing footage! This brings back great memories of seeing Judas Priest and the mighty KK playing this great solo front row on the British Steel Tour '80. Ripper does a great job and I hope they come to the states.
I have tremendous respect for Tim. He came in and filled some big shoes in JP when they were desperate for a vocalist. He fit the bill perfectly. When Halford wanted back he graciously stepped aside. It's I think very disingenuous to him that he wasn't invited on stage as a guest vocalist during their 40th anniversary tour. It would have been awesome to see both he and Halford on stage singing these classic songs together. Oh well it's "Only Rock n Roll and I like it ", ....sometimes.
This is good!! Too damn good!! The other guitarist needs to practice and get the songs straight, but KK is doing great and Ripper is great too, as always. Compare with the actual JP is a little unffair because they have Rob and Richie Faulkner. Rob it's Rob! And Faulkner is one of the best guitar player alive in Metal today. So, in my opinon, I would go on both shows and enjoy.
I was at that gig, front centre. The whole thing was amazing, but KK disn't appear quite so relaxed and happy as he was with the November 2019 No Live With Deth thing at the same venue.
One thing judas priest is Halford fn hands down!! Ripper Owen's is kk priest fkn simple!! They are both fn awesome no matter how u look at it or how u see it!! Get the fk over who should be singing in either band whether it's kk priest or Halford just enjoy which ever one u can see and be greatful!!
Was this singer the one who replaced Halford when he left Judas Priest ? they sound awesome! 0k yes he was duh he is bad ass lot of range and very strong like a young Rob Halford.
Fuckups happen (intro), but still a fan of KK`s SM. They obviously don`t have the big production and shows behind them JP does. KK has always been under appreciated in JP and I never understood why? That alone makes me a fan of him more than them.
Not a fan of this band and Owens is not a lyricist but, (and this is a big butt) Gotta say it, Ripper sings well these days. Probably the strongest link in the band. Well done. The guitar players need to get it together (both of them) and need a different drummer.
Could not agree more. Ripper's lyrics, KK's song titles, the band name, they're all cringeworthy, but the musicianship is excellent. They just need to fix the message and the intent behind it really
@StaticYonder I hope the lyrics on the next album will be a little less cringe, but I don't know. The song titles look similar to those on the debut lol.
People, I don`t know if many of you are very young. But STOP compare Owens with Mr Halford. Halford is in another level. Why don`t you erase Halford from Priest since the begining so. People Halford is THE VOICE. Owens was in a Priest cover band. And in uffh many many bands...
Ripper owens,very underrated
Owens is one of the best singers on the planet...Lots of guts he has for doing Priest songs
You do know that he replaced Halford in Priest in the mid 90's through early 2000's, right? He was singing Priest before that as well.

Wish I could have been there but wasn’t alive lol. Not to say this show wasn’t amazing
Getting such a buzz from seeing these guys in action.
Thanks for posting!!! That was awesome!!
That fucking Scream at the end, Holy Shit
KK's gonna be 73yo in October...hope he has a gig on his birthday...!

The twin guitar bit at the beggining needs some practice😂
You’re telling me!
The guitar intro was obviously a bit rough, but otherwise this is pretty good. Ripper sounds fantastic.
Poor Rob would poop himself if he had to sing Blood Stained in a Judas Priest show but Tim can do it all. He is absolutely spot on.
Tim does have age on his side but I will say his voice is incredible and I’ve always thought the ripper era was underrated
Did not Al Atkins co write this song
???
1,25x for normal drum speed.
Isn't at live slower tempo;
Or is it actually this tempo good;
Probably 1.125 speed is closer to the original
Tempo is very slow for sure!!!
Best version of this is on UNLEASHED IN THE EAST!!!!!!!!!!!!. with Les Binks on Drums 🥁
The slowness actually takes THE BITE out of the song!
Overall still pretty good though.
I was entranced for the whole show so I didn’t notice when I was there lol
I disagree about the tempo of the song, maybe the song feels a little laboured but 1.25 is way too fast
ранний Кинг Даймонд. Рифы оттуда

IM just gonna let that intro go by and pretend i didnt hear it.
Who’s on drums?
It was Les Binks he is gone for reasons I don't understand
Sean Elg
oooops

@@StaticYonderRipper didn't write the lyrics on their debut, it was all KK.
@@morghe321 Then just forget i mentioned Ripper 😂 _KK's_ lyrics and titles are cringe*
@StaticYonder yeah, it doesn't really matter who wrote them, they're cringe regardless. 😆 I just wanted to point that out.
@StaticYonder I hope the lyrics on the next album will be a little less cringe, but I don't know. The song titles look similar to those on the debut lol.
And that scream at the end. What about it...have you listen JUDAS PRIEST last 40 years.
Is it me, or is this being played way too slow ?
KKp>jp?
Currently probably
Meh still dig K.K though .

I always thought Ripper was the better Priest singer.
Ugh you can’t work out the opening riff…
Great singer but the other guitarist needs to get his act together.
Victim of way too damn slow...
