I feel you on grocery prices, it's ridiculous. I spend 2x more a month than I did a year ago and that's being frugal.

Totally agree about the groceries! It’s getting insane.
I started shopping at Aldi at the beginning of the year and save $80 a week on groceries 👌🏼
Aldi doesn’t have the same variety but because of how much I save I don’t really mind.

In my culture, breaking something is a good sign, we say good, evil is gone. So whatever bad thing was supposed to befall you has now happened to the mugs. It could be worse it could have befallen you. It’s ok. You will find better. Use it as a decorative piece for kitchen utensils or pen holders.

I feel like hormones make me EXTRA CLUMSY. Like I’m already clumsy normally but (esp w age) I now really have butter fingers, fall down/loose my footing etc. It HAS to be hormones! MAYBE its your iron as well: I feel like they could be inter-connected?! But if the iron is ok then def. hormones! Imo. ❤

And for your computer I agree, electronics should work way longer, thanks to the planned obsolescence it does not... I don't need a computer to work, so obviously I don't use it as much as you do, but I try to use my electronics until they die... phones as well, and I never bought apple 😆

I strongly believe in the “superstition” I’m not superstitious lol 😂 BUT if stuff breaks when you find it it’s meant to let go I’ve broken so many things in storage while moving etc and I just take it for sure as a sign to let the stuff go!

Ok I will make you feel (ever so slightly) better about your mug situation. When my husband and I first moved in together (pre-marriage) we painted our kitchen yellow and we had a grey tone throughout most of the house. I found the PERFECT mug that had yellow and grey on it with an 'adventure awaits' phrase on it and it was a match made in heaven. Anywho time moves on, it's been a couple years at this point and one day I'm doing the dishes. It was already a rough day and the mug slipped from my hand and got a huuuuge chip in it. I literally burst into tears. Which is hilarious and embarrassing now, but I had reached the end of my tether that day and it pushed me over the edge. My husband is not sentimental so he was like, 'oh well throw it out' and I was like over my dead body. It became a decor piece and still is years later LOL. So I feel you!

A decent vegetable peeler is a joy!.. I still live with my parents BUT i recently bought my own vegetable peeler!! (because the ones that we already owned only peels towards you) It is the best thing that i've purchased in 2023. 🤣👌

yesss our brands here in Pakistan do the same, mostly clothing ones. They have insane high prices, then they have sales and bring the prices to original ones. they trick you but actually you don't save anything and pay more.

I'm not too sure what he is unfortunately. I rescued him so I don't know but I have always thought maybe maine coon or something cause he is so big. Australia is really lovely but it is so far and so expensive. Its a really hard place to travel to thats for sure ❤@@susanmorris5520
