theres not exactly a lot holding it , friction wise ,, still I guess it must work , would you trust your life to the loop on the end though??

I tried this on a 5/16" line and I don't believe it's possible on the small line. I spent 2 evenings. A 5/16" pencil can't be inserted in the middle as he shows.
