I have the QSCK-12s and the QRCKS 112s. Are use these both with my Nord stage two and my Nord C2D. I do not run a mixer at all the keyboards go straight into the speakers. They sound absolutely phenomenal.! Just remember you can buy cheaper equipment out there but you really get what you pay for and QSC I personally have never had a problem with and would hig and the calm and compliant with those are they keep crapping out under high heat or heavy loads. PV not really happy with the sound quality this is why I went with the QSC line. They sound natural and are portable and easy to move. Just remember you guys you get what you pay for.
Please, let us know about the other options you are talking about. Im planning to buy that sub, and would be super helpful, knowing what you believe are better options with better price?
I just bought one last week for $1200 with free cover. I tend to agree it's overpriced but considering the Bose Sub 2 is $1300 and puts out 1000* unknown watts, suddenly the QSC seems like a better deal. I could've added a hundred bucks more to get another JBL PRX15XLF, but that thing is huge. I needed something small to match with my CP8's and they blend nicely.
I have the KS212C dual 12” subwoofer and while i love it its been limiting out at 12 o’ clock or just below and im not even pushing it hard nor is anything else on my system redlining. Have you experienced this with the KS112? I just ordered an EV EKX15sp which is much lighter and will be comparing it. I also have my old KW181 and it has never limited out at 12 o clock or below so i was shocked or maybe there’s a fault with mine. For a 3600 watt sub It has its weaknesses nor was it truly worth the $2k i paid for. I could have bought a matching pair of subs instead which i plan to do and maybe sell the QSC KS212c. Great review by the way. I have been a long time QSC fan but may finally switch to EV it is way more portable and compact as I’m getting older.
Sounds like you might have a amp issue cause I push mine when I had them hard and I had them around 3 o'clock. Check the settings to make sure you don't have them in cordid mode
hey buddy thank you for the video. I just got the CSC Cp12 speakers and I need to buy a subwoofer the Ks12 is the one recommended for the cp12. I have a Z1 native instrument controller connected direct to the cp12 and honestly, I am not crazy how it sound people said you haver to get an external mixer to make it sound better not sure if that is going to improve my sound any tips ? Not sure if an external mixer will fix my problem, since I will still used my z1 controller, or The sound card on the controller is the one that make the sound not very appealing. looking forward to your reply J
What would be the optimal setting with these subwoofers if Im using the K12 QSC Tops and 2 or 1 QSC subwoofers 80% or 100% crossover etc. Party for about 100-200 ppl? I have Rane One Mixer?? 4 speaker or 3 speaker setup.

@@djknowledge1234 no way. My boy owns the ks212 and they edge out the Bose f1 only by a little. The Bose F1 Subwoofer knocks way harder than the ks112. Go to guitar center. They ks112 is heavier than the Bose F1 also. I think you should go and look at your subwoofer specifications. The ks112 only drops down to 41 Hertz whereas the Bose F1 system drops down to 38hz. But it definitely does not hit deeper frequencies than the Bose F1 neither the ks112 or ks212 hit 38hz. I will say that the ks112 does deliver deeper frequencies than the ks212 but the reason why they kept the frequency range so high on the case up is because they were trying to give more output. I have two qsc 10.2 and i revently got 1 ks112 do you think is enough for a crow of 100 people as a dj?
Depends on how much bass you like I would say yes indoors and no if it's outdoors
@@djknowledge1234 thank you for your response i am just starting as dj
I think a 1k is good price. The warranty is great and nobody offers that type of warranty. Quality over everything
Yep... one of these is not enough for a dj gig. Need two. For reference, two 12 subs can come close to an 18 sub output.
qsc ks112 or the rcf 705mk2?

100hz on both. The K12 tops only allow 100mhz. If you put the sub on 80, you'll lose 5dB
Shoot I wish I bought these a long time ago for 1000...Now they cost 1200!!!

Do these have a hi pass filter for your tops? If you dont think they're worth 1K would you recommend buying used??
It depends on how much you can get it used. Don't get me wrong they are amazing speakers just pricey. I can fit 2 and 2 k12.2 in a Jetta.
